Any luck with National ID's and Coupons codes

When I enter in ID 8572987 and coupon ND2119071Q it accepts them but says I may need actual printed coupon to present. But when I go to click on coupon from Mousesavers site to print nothing shows up. How do I get the coupon to print as I wonder if the coupon will be needed or not.

That could be the e-coupon. When I made my National reservation, I went to Specials to go on their website, and when I clicked on the special I wanted, the coupon code was inserted for me. If that is the case, you do not need to have a coupon printed. You do not need a printed coupon for the contract code (8572987).

I think that coupon is on National's web site. You can go there to print it out from their specials page.

I used 5063773 and BJ's coupon paper nf3501jdm for May 24th to May 29th for an Emerald Aisle Intermediate rental for $139.71. I just need feedback from other renters who used 5063773 which is a travel agent code.

Wow, I love reading on this board!!! Using the Carlson code and the 3 day Visa coupon, I have our 3 day rental for $71. Being persistent I'll keep working on it, and hope for more reductions.
Please tell me more about the Carlson code - feel like this has been around in the past. Where is it from etc...? Please tell me where I can find the Visa 3 day coupon also?

Thanks so much - for some reason I do not have that Visa entry on my Mousesavers page. I have looked up and down carefully too. Nonetheless, I went to the coupon, printed it out, and have it put away.

I entered these codes and the "base rate" was $20 lower than with the Visa code...so that was exciting, however, the bottom line "estimated total" came up $20 higher!...apparently because the Visa code includes all of the surcharges except the sales tax. That is one great code.

and it came up at $139.71 for June 11 - 16.
What are these? Do I need a certain ID or paper coupon?

This dropped my rate from $180.42 a $41.00 savings.

Am I gonna have any problems with it?

$256.71 is my new rate for the Minivan at National now that I added a coupon from the Entertainment book for a free day to go with the "magic" code 8572987.

If we have a confirmed reservation and check in at the kiosk, what could go wrong?

And the answer is, nothing. The rental process was very smooth, no problem at all. I had a choice of a Chevy Uplander or Dodge Grand Caravan when we got to the garage and I'm glad, we really needed the extra space in the Dodge Caravan. We had 7 people and a LOT of luggage (family packed more than I told them they could take.)

Also, I paid with American Express even though this was a VISA code.

We did include the pre-pay gas at $3.27 per gallon. We will have the car for 9 days and are driving to Vero so I know we will use at least a full tank of gas. The gas station "Hess" near the Boardwalk was selling gas for $3.23 per gallon. We went over to the Disney Premier Outlet and gas was $3.91 or something crazy like that. Gas is priced differently where ever we look.

Anyway, no problem using the code (so far). We bring it back on the 29th.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like you have the same EA luck as us lately. (We were there for pick up late January and only intermediate cars, same for our October trip.)

Holy Cow! what is going on with National's rates??? A while back I reserved a mini-van using the visa code and got a total price of $440 (including car seat) for 10 days. I just checked to see if the rates have changed at all and the BASE rate is up to $1,194 for this rental period. When I made my ressies the cost was about $560 w/o the visa code... Why would it double??!!!

I hope they honor my reservation for the $440!!!

I found a code 5063773 with coupon NF3054JDC for 4 days in May that gave me a rate of $105.

I searched for this code on the internet and it says it was a TA code.

Will I have an issue using this? It's $50 cheaper then anything elese I could find.

My National rental rate FINALLY dropped for my late April/early May trip. I was on Alamo and it dropped to $230 total for a 2 week rental so I was going to book with them. I went to national where my rate has been $385 for a total 2 week rental (EA). I dropped from $385 yesterday to $260 today for TWO weeks. My base rate is $137 before discounts. I used code 5007125 and the $35 coupon code ND2119071Q to get this rate. PLEASE note, I tried using the newest amazing code (8572987) and it gives me the rate of $385, so folks who have booked with this code, please check some of our old reliable codes too. I didn't check all of the codes, just a couple. I thought maybe I better book in case this is short term. Alamo is having some great rates too. However, I pickup on April 27th. If you are going in May the rates still seem to be higher as I was checking for my daughter's pick up on May 3. I was hoping the rates would drop after Easter and I was right.
