Has anyone had any luck getting LeCellier reservations by calling frequently? I call every day for the week I am going in November for dinner reservations. Am I fooling myself thinking there could be any cancellations?

Is it traditionally hard to get a ADR here? I am not going to April, but this is top on my husband's list of places to eat!
Now along with the new ADR system I have this to worry about!

I have. I'm pretty flexible with what day I can do it. I hated it two years ago, decided to give it a 2nd try in September and loved it. When I came back I decided I wanted to eat there on 12/29 I was able to rearrange my schedule a little. Switching Coral Reef to 12/29 and I finally got Le Cellier for 1/2. I got lunch, but that's what we were looking for. I think I called everyday for 3 weeks before I got it. It's not at our ideal time, but we made our dinner later and it works out.

No luck with cancellations and I called everyday for three weeks, however, did get a walk up resi (for 2) at lunch 10/1, 11:30 AM.

Good luck!

IF you cant get anything over the phone , then i would try and do a walk up. I have had luck a few times. It is hit or miss , but it wont hurt to try!

I've never had a problem....flexible on times. We have ADRs there for Nov. and Jan. We go every trip...our favorite place!!
Good luck.

1) Any time after the first 1-5 days ADR time is tough to get a ressie.
2) All you can do it hope for a cancellation.
3) Yes, they do occur, now, you just have to call at the right time.

it took a couple of weeks, but i was able to get le cellier for dinner during our december trip. we booked with about 80 days to go, so we started off late, but we got it eventually. i had actually given up because we were happy with the ADR's we had, but called back one day after skipping a few and got it. this worked for ohana as well, so keep calling. good luck. :thumbsup2

It took me over a month of calling but I was finally able to snag a cancellation for our trip last week. While we were waiting to be seated I did hear them turning people away who did not have ADR's. I would keep calling. People cancel and change their plans all the time. Good luck!

I called 2 days ago for a lunch ressie at Le Cellier for 10/31-11/4...got one for 11:30am. Wasn't anything available for dinner, of course.

I was thinking about giving it up for the new Italian place in Epcot, though -- Thought I might try something new.

I have always had luck with booking here, usually within a half hour of when we wanted to eat there. I don't know if it makes a difference that I call through the DVC number or not, but it's worked for me.:cheer2:

Just got in here for dinner on Oct 23rd. Tried weeks ago with 5 different dates and flexible time and they had nothing. Thought last week let me give it another try (I had one dinner left to fill) and like magic they had two dinner reservations right at the time and day I wanted! So keep giving it a try...worked for us!:thumbsup2

I called Friday for an ADR for Jan 6. I had my choice of times at lunch at chose 12:55. And it was an ADR for 3. First try.

I tried for 5 weeks for a lunch ADR and finally got one last week. Don't give up! :thumbsup2

What date are you looking for? We might be cancelling one of our reservations for the week of Thanksgiving.

There are always cancellations. I cancelled a reservation there last week. We were touring Bay Lake Towers at SSR and it was pouring rain. We decided to just hang at SSR and eat there.

Yes! And, people change their plans all the time, even in the few days before and the day of, so keep calling, even when you arrive on site! The other day they had a number of lunch ressies available for 4 in mid Nov. :)

Yes, it is traditionally hard to get a ressie there! I really wasn't planning on going there, but after reading so many great reviews, and then getting FD and needing some ADR's, I decided to try and nothing available at all. Finally got very lucky and got one and this is one of the places I'm most excited to go to! So, if DH is really wanting to eat there, you've got some time, but I'd get this ressie first thing, as soon as the day you are allowed to book it!! Just do it asap and be persistant and I'm sure you'll get an ADR there! :thumbsup2
