...seems like they would rather fill a slot than lose someone to an alternate location like Swan/Dolphin?

i've not heard them ever negotiate on price, they often have more than one bride wanting the same time/date/location so they have no need to.

I've never heard of them doing that. They want to keep their brand and image high and are not hurting for business. Their prices are also still much cheaper than having an at-home wedding for most people.

In the past they have offered last minute "discounts" to fill in open dates for Wishes, but I have never seen them offer discounts on Escape. And the last minute discounts were lowered minimums, it wasnt that big of a discount.

It used to say something on the website about discounts being offered for last minute weddings, but since they updated the site, I dont even think that is there anymore. I had called once to ask about it and was told they were not offering any at the moment.

Never say never, it can't hurt to ask if you want to do a last minute thing. But have a back up plan!

I don't think they're hurting for business... I'm getting married on a random saturday in February and had to go into lottery... but it doesn't hurt to try!
