Any luck calling back for discount code availability?

Or can I make a new reservation with the code? Can it be done through the website? I haven't tried the 800 number, but I suspect it is not toll-free from Barbados, and I just don't want to spend a lot of money trying to get a discount.

AllisonG, don't give up. My TA just got me POFQ today for the exact same dates as you with the discount. She said it just became available today!

I just booked a last minute trip yesterday for Oct. 8-16. I called asked for AP rates, expecting none, but got CBR for $84 a night. I am thrilled.

We were going to the Keyes that week, but with all the hurricanes, I chickened out. So back to WDW! I'm thrilled!

Will someone give me the 800 ressies number? I have a postcard with the 407 number. What are my chances of getting the discounted rate for a room at the end of this month?

I'm still trying here, not giving up I have 5 nights at POR at $79/night, and 2 astronomical nights at AKL concierge...I have my heart set on those 2 nights, but I don't have a pass rate on them yet....still working on it, just about daily.

I was lucky in that when we had to rebook because of Ivan (when the tracks sent it straight up FL) we were able to book for November with an email pin discount and got 100.00 per night off for CR Garden/Water view.

But after having had a standard view booked with the same discount, it still feels like an increase to us LOL. I have tried and tried and cannot get any better deal for our dates; I even tried to get in at PORFQ and nothing is available at ALL for those dates even at rack!

So we're trying to be happy with what we have. Though I have to admit for the first time I'm looking at the nightly rate and wondering if Pop wouldn't be a better idea LOL

Every time I've called there are garden view rooms and garden view concierge for mid November (second and third week) at the AP rates. I never asked about the public code rates.

It was the lagoon view that was hard to come by.

I saw POFQ today for the 4th to 8th of November for the person who was looking for those dates with the codes...... It seems as if the system was down last night and opened again this morning, so maybe they loaded in some more discounted rooms.

I had pretty much given up on getting a better discount but decided to try and call about the website rate which was supposed to be good for the kind of room at the CR that we have. I also asked the CM if she could please check on a AP discount if the web code wasn't available.

She came back and said she couldn't get the web code...waited a moment and then added that I'd better order that AP cause she GOT IT FOR US! WOO HOO!!! And a couple of those nights are supposed to be blacked out, I don't get it but I'm not complaining LOL. That saved us more than 200 dollars over our previous discount and I was going to get the AP anyway!

I had a great CM, she had to call Special Reservations and work with them since my ressie is 'locked' because of (medical) special needs; she was gone so long I didn't know what was up but I was happily waiting on hold singing along through a couple songs LOL "A dream is a wish your heart makes" was just about over when she came back, and then my dream came true, I got the AP rate!

I cried I was so happy. A magical Disney moment and we haven't even left yet! So keep trying and good luck!
