What has been your experience?
My ob/gyn. recently recommended that I try some and I got a natural cream from Whole Foods (emirita PRO-GEST) and started the other day. (I have a lot of perimenopause symptoms). I also bought a natural woman's vitamin (Every Woman) as I have a sensitive stomach and other vitamins make me sick. This vitamin doesn't affect my stomach at all - yay!
Now I know I haven't been using the cream for long and I am not sure if it is mind over matter, but today I FELT GREAT!!
I had so much energy that I actually called my friend/neighbor and we went for a walk...and not the short walk, but the loooong walk through the entire neighborhood then up and back again! I haven't done that for ages. I have really becom a slug and that is not like me. When I would tell my PC about my symptoms he kept thinking I was depressed and wanted me to start antidepressants. I don't feel depressed - just blah!
I am scheduled for a hysterectomy on 2/28 due to uterine fibroids but I want to see if the cream makes a difference this month and if I have the pain. I am very anxioous about the surgery and the recory time afterwards. If I have to do it I will, but at this point I am wondering if all I have needed was the cream?? I will certainly talk with my ob/gyn again and see what she thinks after I have used the cream for over a month and if my symptoms have changed/improved.
Just wanted to know if anyone has had any experience...good or bad..
Jill
