Anyone have any reviews of what their kids thought about Forbidden Journey? Just curious what other kids thought. My kids all want to ride when we go in August. Not concerned about DS14 but not sure what DS11 or DD7 will make of it.

My 13 year old and I rode it 6 times. He LOVED it. (so did I):lovestruc

I don't have any kids but I sat next to a 8 year old in the three broom sticks that loved it. He was so excited he told me all about how he had help Harry fight the Dementors and spiders! It was cute.

That's good to know. I haven't really heard of any little ones going on it, partly due to the height requirement I'm sure. DD is fine on EE, Space Mountain and Soarin, but FJ seems unlike anything we have tried.

My 7 year old son who is barely 48'' rode it this evening and came off pumping his fist with excitement. The seat swallowed him whole but he was well secured.

My 10 year old DD rode it and like the ride. There is a part that has dementors where she closed her eyes.

I have kids myself but every time I rode there was a child mostly around 8 and 9 years old. They all loved it. I don't think it is scary or terrifying if that is an issue. But I think motion sickness could be an issue for a younger one. Other than that it is a really fabulous ride with cool effects.

Thanks! I wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy for telling DD7 she could try it.

As long as she is 48" and not afraid of giant spitting spiders, noisy bogey-men jumping out, dragons breathing steam, snake skeletons and being tossed around by an enchanted bench, she should love it!!!:goodvibes

LOL Based on that description, she'll probably be OK. It's me we're going to have to worry about!
