We ended up with the option of using a 2 ts credit one night. It will be 2 4 yr old boys my sister and mom. We are open to anything. I dont think cindy's but would try the luau or would love to try one of the table services like Jiko. both boys are fairly good and could sit through a meal. We are already doing the hoop de doo review one night.

We are doing Jiko and Narcoosees both with two children. I think most places in Disney are okay with children. I picked the two that I thought had the most appealing kids menus

Narcoossee's at the GF.

All of the 2TS welcome well behaved children. The signatures are all considered fine dining and I think some are more kid friendly than others. I feel the most kid friendly are Narcoosees (can look out the windows and watch the water and boats) and Ca Grill (can look out the windows and see the lagoon or MK). Flying Fish also has an open kitchen so it's got more of a hustle-bustle atmosphere and provides something interesting to watch. I think that the others are probably a little less kid friendly, they are quieter and there isn't much to entertain children (JIKO and Artist Point are the quietest and JIKO is fairly dark making it more difficult for children to color and do quiet table activities). The meals generally take longer at the signatures and everyone has to know their own children's ability to sit quietly for longer periods of time. These meals can take up to 2 hours and the later in the evening, the more adult the atmosphere becomes.

I've eaten at all of these places several times and I've never had a meal ruined or upset by poorly behaved children (although I've witnessed a few loud and obnoxious adults).

I agree with the PP about Narcooses and Cali, both not only have windows to peer out and look at things, but you can go out on the balcony style dock at Narcooses and look out prior to sitting, and there's a balcony at Cali.

I also made my signature dining resv. for 5:30. I am hoping that will allow us to get in and out faster with the first seating of the night.

The only 2ts restaurant we have been to was Artisit Point. There were tons of kids there and we had an adr around 7pm. My oldest dd won "Artist of the Day!" They gave the kids a color sheet when we sat down and they colored it before we ate. My kids do very well in restaurants. They are used to eating out here at home, so they know how they are supposed to act. I think you will be fine to take them.

I would choose based on the menu that appeals most to the adults and the location that's the most convenient in terms of what else you will have been doing that day, etc.

Remember, too, that for the signature places in the resort hotels that ALL the restaurant kitchens share access to ingredients so that, for example, if the Artist's Point kids menu doesn't have something on it that the Whispering Canyon one does, you just need to ask and they will serve you that item. Agreed that the restaurants are kid-friendly and that as long as you have something for your kids to do or look at if they get bored then you'll be fine. Enjoy!

As long as your children aren't running through the restaurant screaming or flinging food across the table, they will be fine anywhere.

My daughter LOVED this restuarant at the Wilderness Lodge. It is loud and casual, but there were many younger children who looked like they were having a great time!
Ask for ketchup!
Celebrate a birthday!
Have a HUGE drink!
If you don't like loud and rowdy, stay away.
Food was very good. Corn bread brought to the table before food was great!
Lots to keep a 4 year old busy!
Only 1 TS credit needed!
