Any Jewelery Box Suggestions?

I would like a nice medium sized jewelery box. Probably something wood and tarnish free and well crafted. I've liked some of the ones on QVC, but they are made to hold tons of rings, which I have few of. I would like something that mostly holds earrings and a few necklaces and room to add more peices over the years. Any suggestions?

Sadly, they're no longer open in the US, but if you know any Canadians or can find one on ebay - Bombay makes the nicest jewelry boxes I've ever seen. I've got at least 5 You can check them out at bombay.ca to get an idea of what kind of stuff they have.

I have never found a jewelry box that fits my needs either so I bought a huge lot of those little jewelry ziploc bags in varied sizes. I now just put each piece in it's own little bag. If certain pieces go together then each tiny bag goes inside a larger ziploc bag. I can now see all my jewelry and nothing gets tangled. The other bonus is silver doesn't tarnish nearly as quickly when it isn't exposed to the air. I have three clear plastic boxes for jewelry so jewelry is split between gold, silver and costume. Not beautiful to look at but I just tuck it all in a drawer and now I can actualy find what I am looking for.

I really enjoy my jewelry box that looks like a large collage picture frame. It hangs on the wall, so it doesn't take up room on my dresser. The inside has everything you need, even more room than a conventional jewelry box.

My grandma used to have tons of earrings of various sizes and she kept them organized in a tackle box that had tons of compartments and it lifted up. Her's was more practical looking (I was the "organizer"). I'm sure they sell nice one's that look more fashionable nowadays.

I got one of the ones on QVC for Christmas (the standing mirror one). I don't have a lot of jewelry and I don't have any rings that aren't premanently on my fingers, but I really wanted a standing mirror, so this one worked well for me. I like that it is in my room, and not in my closet under all of my clothes like my other one. Everything is easy to get to.
