Have any of you used Jet Blue and what were your experiences? Thinking of booking them for a flight in February, but I really don't know much about them.

Thank you in advance.

Loved JEtblue. Tvs on every seat. Great selection of snacks. Nothing not to like. I thought the seats were pretty roomy.

love Love LOVE JetBlue. Hands down the best flying experiences I have had in the past few years.

Phone reps are delightful, ground crew is great, inflight crew topnotch. The inflight entertainment is fantastic.

Every person I encountered while flying JetBlue has been nothing short of AWESOME.

If JetBlue flies to somewhere I am going, they will always be my first choice, and I can choose to fly out of Logan, TF Green, or Manchester, NH.

Love them! Love their customer service! They were extremely helpful when my dad passed away.

I flew them the last time I went to WDW and I fell in love with them. I highly recommend JetBlue! :thumbsup2

ETA: I agree with the above poster regarding the customer service. I emailed them with a really dumb question before my flight and I got an immediate response.

I flew them for a short hop from Long Beach, CA to Las Vegas a year or so ago. It was the day after they had that plane land at LAX with the broken front wheel. We ended up sitting on the tarmac for almost an hour, because they had loaded the plane with enough fuel to go to Boston, but then used the plane for the Vegas flight instead and had to offload fuel, but the fuel truck couldn't get the fuel to come out. They put the TVs on for us, so I was able to watch Monty Python and keep myself in a good mood. We finally took off and they flew us to the north for a while, before heading east to Vegas, to burn off some of the fuel. So, we arrived about an hour or so late, but it was not a bad experience, all things considered. I'd fly them again.

I will only fly Jetblue..for me I have always gotten great rates ($79 each way from Boston to Orlando), tv's (big plus) leather steas...free Dunkin Donuts coffee....tons of leg room. Very friendly airline. Can't say enough good about them. Helps that I just flew them last week and again on Sunday.

Once you fly Jet Blue, you won't fly any other airline. I know I won't. Just flew them yesterday (home from WDW, as a matter of fact).

I was very impressed with their customer service when I had to fly home from Fort Lauderdale in March 2005. Their was an ice storm in NY. I have never seen such calm customer service people. Travelers were frustrated & yelling at the agents, none of them were rude back. They handled everything so well. And even though I switched planes, my luggage made it home with me!

And yesterday I asked the flight attendent to ask me with my seat belt. (I'm wide around the middle & struggle with belts). He said "I'll get something to help you", got me an extender & did it so quietly no-one knew what he did.

I only fly JetBlue at this point. Every other airline always seems to have a problem - ridiculously high fares, long delays, cranky crew members, etc. JetBlue has great customer service and usually gets me to Orlando early. Also, they are one of the few airlines I know of that will give you a credit on any price difference for free if they reduce their fares after you pruchased your ticket.

I can't say enough good things about JetBlue. They are my first choice. Their website is easy to navigate. You can pick your seat, pay for your ticket, and print your boarding pass on line. Their employees are cheerful and helpful. Planes are new and clean with leather seats and personal TV's. They use Airbus A320's on most routes and brand new Embraer RJ's on thinner routes. Add in their great rates and I can't see anyone using any other airline!

I have alot of experience with JetBlue. I have earned 3 reward flights. I like them for them most part.
My DD LOVES the TV's in the seats.
They are a bit disorganized. I had a reward flight that I booked for WDW this Christmas. I booked it the day I was able to, as these things go fast. From Burbank to MCO non-stop. They subsequently cancelled the non-stop service after only a few weeks. That part disppointed me, but hey , stuff happens.

I was more disturbed that I got serval e-mails and phone calls about the chage, after I already resolved it. I mean weeks. Then I would call again, the CSR new nothing about it, said it was resolved, e-mails nd phone calls agin! This is stilll going on after months of this.

It is a pain to pack food as you only get snacks on a 6 hr flight.

The rates used to be incredible. 2004 I could fly from JFK to Long Beach for $99 each way, then it was briefly $109, then $129, Noe I am lcuky to get it for $159. Gas didn't go up THAT much, is is fallen significantly recently.

They also noe charge a fee each way for an unacompanied minor, they didn't use to. So that tacks on $100 round trip.

So now we are using Continental. They fly non-stop from Newark to John Wayne. Not having to do JFK is a treat. IT is competetively priced too.

We will mis those tv's though!

Good luck.

My family and I have flown on Jet Blue a number of times, and we love it! Great rates, comfy leather seats and tv's on each seat back...great for keeping little ones entertained from Boston to Orlando!

We will only fly Jet Blue now! :thumbsup2

I love JetBlue. I've flown them twice to Florida this year and they are great! Excellent customer service and love the TVs. Can't beat it! :thumbsup2

Count me in as another who loves JetBlue.
We have even been flying out of JFK instead of the easier to get to Newark airport because they are so great.

However, I think their prices have gone up considerably.
We're flying Continental in Dec though(to Orlando) because the fare was 175 dollars r/t, and JetBlue was much more expensive-close to $300- when I booked.
I prefer JetBlue but I won't pay that much extra.

:) Thanks everyone for the helpful replies!!!!!!!!

They are the best airline bar none. I laugh at people that save 30 nucks to fly swa. You couldnt pay me to fly southwest. I hope jetblue bankrupts all the other airlines. Also if we can't fly jetblue we pay for first class. I still prefer jetblue over first class any day.

Another "love jetblue" vote!

In fact, I chose a JetBlue flight with layover rather than nonstop SWA flight for upcoming Disney trip - I'd rather sit in an airport for an hour to take Jet Blue :rotfl:

Also, customer service is great! I just called to get a credit on one of my flights for which the price went down. Absolutely no questions - immediately deposited the full amount in my JetBlue account. Then they e-mailed with a follow-up confirmation!

:thumbsup2

Lovelovelove JetBlue. Didn't take them to WDW in March (Song got me there 2 hours earlier) and missed them the whole time. Taking them this weekend!
