If I have my info correct, Teppanyaki in Japan will be reopening in August after refurb. Does anyone know any details? I would love to find out if they will then have seating at one table for parties of 9? TIA!:upsidedow

I would love to know any info, too. I don't think they are changing the menu, just the building? :confused3

:wizard: We have and ADR for August 21st and are also anxious to see the menu....does anyone have any info??:confused3

The only info I have is that the name will now be Teppan Edo. When I made dining ressies for Dec, the CM's did not have a menu nor did they know if the food would still be cooked at the table.

I am now debating whether or not I should try to get in here for my August trip. When I made my ADRs way back they said it was closed for rennovation, but now it will be open while we are there. Maybe I'll wait and try to hit it in October.

I booked it two days after the reopen in August! Promise to post our review ASAP. CM would only say it would be "similar" to Teppanaki, snd given my kids have never expereinced the table cooking, I thought we'd take a shot!

Unless, of course, a miracle happens and we get into Le Celler!!!:rotfl2:

Yes the new name is Teppan Edo. From what I have heard, it is still suppose to be Hibachi Style Cooking and they are to expand their lounge and Sushi Bar area. Hope this helps.:)

I called this morning about my ADR's for 10/19 and all they told me was the ressie was changed to Teppan Edo, the new name. No other info

Thanks for all the replies! I did not even know that they are changing the name. Anyone already book for a larger party, 9 or more?? :upsidedow

:wizard: I'm surprised there is no info about the menu and it's scheduled to open in a month. I'm pretty sure when I made my ADR they told me it may actually open sooner....if anyone gets any info, please pass it on! :wave2:
