Kona Cafe or Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner?

Our first afternoon I'm sure we will hit MK, so while I really want Chef Mickeys...


I am looking for something good (on DP), nearby, I'm sure we will be exhausted.....

Grand Floridian was recommended by our TA, it looks ok, but she raved about it.

I must admit that I like both! I'd check out the menus on allears.net and make your decision based of what appeals to your family eating habits.

I can't comment on GF Cafe as I have never been. However, I can tell you that I've always been pleased with our meals at Kona. The sticky wings, potstickers and NY strip are yummy!

We are planning to visit GF Cafe on our trip in March! I've heard and read great things about their Grand Floridian Burger!

Kona and GF Cafe are both decent choices. I eat at one or both every trip and have never had a bad experience. I prefer them for breakfast or lunch, but they are fine for dinner. They are my go-to places for my Magic Kingdom days...I don't like the MK restaurants.

We like both! The GF Burger was my favorite thing that I ate on my last trip.

We love Kona! On this trip, we ate there twice this week (breakfast and dinner) and probably would have done so again, but it didn't work out. The chicken pan-asian noodles were SO good. It sounded so basic and I didn't really want it, but it was fabulous!

Did both in January and GFC was fantastic. The pumpkin crusted snapper was so tasty. All of us loved our dinners. Kona was good, but not as memorable as GFC.

Love Kona. Never had a bad meal here. GFC was another must do for years but we have had just ok meals lately. Both have my fav dessert. Chocolate fondue. But Kona kills GFC's Lol.
I would choose Kona!!
