Any information about Carousel Inn?

Anyone have any information about the Carousel Inn across the street from DL? We are going to CA in July and plan on going to DL and decided to stay the night instead of driving home.

If anyone has any comments or information, I would appreciate it.

My Brother stayed here a few years ago and said it was fine. On a Disneyland Message board www.laughingplace.com there has been some debate about it. Most people say it was fine and they would go back. There were a couple (the usual percentage) that said it was bad. Many said they would go back if need be but have found places they liked better. The place is decent looking and seems kept up and is in a great location. The walk over to the two parks would be about 5-6 minutes.

That's my verdict - we stayed there on our first trip to DL (admittedly about 5 years ago) and while I wouldn't not go back, there are places I've liked more. Id guess for one night it would be fine especially if it's cheaper than the board favourites of the Candy Cane, the HoJo etc. You certainly won't get much nearer!

I stayed there a year ago and found the rooms to be clean and comfy. We paid a bit less than 50.00 per night so we were happy with the choice. The front desk staff wasn't the best during check out, but everyone else we talked to was nice and friendly. We had a few minor problems with our room, but they were taken care of quickly adn with out complaints.

It is very close to the park and our room was bug free. So I would stay there again.
