Any info on upcoming military promos?

My only WDW reservation this year is 3 nights in Oct for F&W. I take my 2 best friends and the room is on me ( DVC ). For the last few years, I've used my military ID to buy our 3 tickets.

This year, the special expires before we arrive. I'm wondering if Disney will extend the military offer...

Anyone heard? Opinions?

They did last yr so we can only hope! Im wondering if they are waiting for when the new ticket prices come out first then maybe extend the $99 offer.

Last year it was never extended. It was thru Dec 22 from the get go. This year they cut it short. We used the offer last year in Dec and was disappointed the cut off was Sept 30..so I dont know if they will extend it this year. We ask at our base and they didnt seem to think it would be extended. You may want to check out Shades of Green website. They have a stars and stripe package and I dont think you have to stay there. I think it is for tickets only.

Who Knows What EVIL Lurks In The Heart Of Disney Marketing?!

When Disney feels ready to implement their next promotion they will do so. If other recent promotions have been any indication, for about the first month nobody will really understand it and the Marketing people will not have thought out all the ramifications.

I am holding out buying my tickets for my Nov trip. You never know they may extend it. If not, then the past 3 trips I have gone have been cheap and I appreciate Disney offering it.

They probably are going to see how it goes... Remember the whole "weaning us off discounts." There is probably some actuary in a cubicle somewhere with an excel spreadsheet doing an analysis of future promotions as we speak (or type).

From what MWR told us a lot of bases are now out of the tickets and are not getting anymore. So if disney was planning on extending I would think they would have them being restocked.
