Just saw the great $59 rate on Mousesavers for the Radisson Resort Parkway. It looks nice, especially for that price! And the rooms have just been refurbished. Has anyone stayed here recently that could give me their opinions? I really prefer staying on property. Would I lose the magic staying here?

I stayed at the Radisson Resort Parkway in 1997 and really
enjoyed it there. With the rooms being refurbished, the
resort is only getting better.

Huge pool with waterfall. Two outdoor spa's (one
with waterfall). Several dining choices (restaurant, deli,
pizza). They had free transportation to WDW, SeaWorld, Universal when I was there.

I would stay there again.

That rate is fantastic. Go for it.

We will be staying there 1 night in May before a week at POR it seemed to be a good deal so I booked it for our first night.

My dh and I have stayed there twice as a local getaway weekend..we love it~! It can't be beat for the price and we went for one night this past March and the rooms look great!

This may sound weird but the first time we stayed there, we ordered room service (in-room dining as they call it)we had a little too much wine and ordered the filet mignon...well it was the best one we've had...(I know ..I know ..it sounds crazy being a hotel and all...) I would say it was Ruths Chris quality filet...

We also did their breakfast at their rest. and it was wonderful too...

If you get a chance stop by Celebration.. it is right near there..it's beautiful and they have a nice British pub for lunch with a great clam chowder...

We will be staying at the Radisson Resort Parkway in 3 days for a 6 night stay. I am soooooo excited!! I really think this is a great hotel choice as we will have lots of great ammenties without the "sticker shock" of staying on-site. If you go on Radisson's official website and look up this hotel, you can see great 360 degree views of the place. It looks really nice!! We got the $69/nite Mousesavers rate, when I called to change it to the $59 one, they didn't have any King rooms avalable for that rate so we stuck with our original $69 reservation. You really can't beat it! And the pool area looks fabulous!! When I return next week, I will write a FULL report on this hotel because I am so surprised how little this resort is talked about on these boards especially with the GLOWING review Mary writes on her Mousesavers site. Will the money you'll save....how can you go wrong???!!!

We stayed there in 1997 so it was prerefurbishment. But, even so it was very nice. My only complaint was the shuttle. It ran on schedule, but you are kind of trapped at the parks during the day. I had a one year old and would have liked to come back to the hotel midday. This seems to be a problem with the shuttles for any off-site hotel. If you think you might want to break up the day with a rest at the hotel, you should rent a car.

The pools were very nice. The restaurant was fine, plus it was walking distance to several nice restaurants and a grocery store. It was also very close to WDW.

I saw that Mousesavers has this resort back up to $69/night so I booked it through hotelkingdom.com yesterday for $63.90 and called Radisson today, and we are in the system.
We will only be staying there for one night and checking into OKW the next day- does anyone know how far Radisson is from the DD area? When I called Radisson, she said 1.5 miles away from transportation- I didn't know if that meant TTC?

Hi,
We stayed at the Radisson Palm Parkway April 13 to 20th! I really enjoyed this place a lot.
Very clean and large rooms. The pool was clean and the slide my daughter enjoyed. The restaurant had a good buffet for breakfast. The location was ideal. It is so close to the Magic Kingdom enterance and close to all the highways. You can walk to a lot of shopping places and restaurants. We drove to Fl. and there was always close parking to the front entrance. If we go back next year (hopefully!) , we will just book there again. Have fun
:D
