Any info on city and dates for Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montanna Concert Tour?

Ticket sales for the Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana "Best of Both Worlds Tour" at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio on January 3, 2008 will be restricted to residents within a 75 mile radius of the Greater Cleveland area. Residency qualification will be determined based on credit card billing address. Orders placed by residents outside the specified zip code designations will be cancelled without notice and refunds will be given.

Also I looked at several other venues and they now have restrictions. Go to ticketmaster and click on your venue. You will see if you are able to buy tickets to your venue. It is based on credit card billing address in most cases. HTH

Well, I looked and I guess we are too small for their concern. Didn't see anything about radius. I guess we are lucky. After all I went through to get these tickets. I would be irate if my tickets were cancelled while the ticketbrokers are making a fortune.

This would have totally irked me for our venue. I am definitely outside the 75 mile radius, but still less than a 2-hr drive! I understand the need to try to prevent scalping, but sometimes the nearest venue is the nearest big city which for us over 100 miles!

Our venue states that you must be a resident in the tri-state area. That would include most people within a two hour drive (and up to 6 hours in some directions). The closer areas that I can think may be shut out would pass 3 other concerts on the way to ours so it sounds fair to me. I don't know how much this actually increases my chances but it is better than nothing.

Well, at least they're trying to do something.

The thing is we've purchased concert tickets for areas that were way more than 75 miles away in the past. We knew we would be out of town when the tour came to our area, so we bought tickets to use in conjunction with a Disney trip or while staying with out of state relatives.

So much for Hannah Montana groupies eh?


Our Six Flags park started a similar thing a couple of years ago. I guess some locations had better packages and prices than others, and since season passes were accepted reciprocally, they decided to limit online purchases of season passes to certain zip codes. We were not able to renew or purchase new passes even though we had been season pass holders for years and had only attended our "home park"
Go figure

I think they are restricting the mileage b/c on yahoo news they had an article about concert sales undergoing investigation due to 3-10minute sell outs as well as a large portion of tickets have been onsale before the presale fan club tickets were available through ticket brokers.

I am thrilled that they are doing something trying to deter broker/scalpers But HM isn't coming within 75miles of us in any direction. The closest she is coming for us is Nashville, TN which is a 2hr drive. She is coming to Indinapolis, but that is a 3hr drive and we are driving back from WDW that day. I don't want to see any concert bad enough to leave WDW a day early I wish that those that wanted to go got to go and those who purchased tickets to resell didn't.

I think the size of the area you are allowed to live in depends on the venue. I am waiting for Worcester MA to go on sale right now. The site says that it will limit sales to MA, VT, NH, ME and Windham County CT. That's a huge area. I would guess some locations in northern New England are several hundred miles from Worcester but its the closest place for them. Its also a huge amount of people trying to get into a single arena. I doubt we'll get tickets but I'm going to try.

Just got Cleveland Ohio tickets!!! I had my presale code ready to go and was able to have 4 tickets in hand by 10:04am! Upper level which really is not too bad but they are directly across from the stage so that is a bonus! Total price of child happiness....a mere $201.90 after all fees! OUCH!

anyway, good luck to everyone trying to get tickets...it is quite a stressful event and I am glad our turn is over!!

Yes, Yes, Yes..........I got tickets this a.m. with MileyWorld presale code! I was shaking so much I didn't think I'd be able to type! Nothing came up when I typed in qty 4, so I decided to try changing the qty to 2 (was trying for me, DD7, SIL and DN7), but figured I would get selfish and just try for the 2 for us. I got 2 floor seats for Atlantic City. Then feeling guilty about SIL and DN, I tried again after that purchase and scored 2 lower level for Newark! I'm glad they both get to go, regardless is it is together or not. Good luck to everyone else trying!
P.S. I have a headache now.....I think my blood pressure shot up from all this!

OMG!!!! I am still shaking. I called the Wachovia center in Philly last night to see when the tix were going on sale. It still said "TBD" as of 11:00pm last night on MileyWorld. Wachovia said they had "no confirmation that she was even coming." Well, I go on Mileyworld this morning to check again at about 10:10...the tix for Wachovia Center went on Sale at 10:00 TODAY!!! I was flipping out screaming at my computer (scared the heck out of my cat!). Well at 10:11 I was able to get Lower Level seats for 4!!! I guess the Wachovia Center made it a big secret that these were going on sale today?? Anyone know??? I am so excited right now just to have gotten them

I was able to get 4 lower level seat for AC 1/5/08! I'm so excited...now I have Xmas presents for my dd's and my niece and nephew (11 yo). Now I have to get a single ticket for myself when the general public tix go on sale Saturday. It was hella-expensive ($316) but they will all be so excited (OK...my nephew will only be excited for the Jonas Brothers).
