Any info on city and dates for Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montanna Concert Tour?

For anyone who is going to buy presale tickets on September 25th -- DO NOT go to Mileyworld.com. Print out or write down your presale code and go directly to ticketmaster.com and type it in there (make sure you are using all caps too!).

What can I say other than that I am livid! I joined that stupid club to get tickets for DD6. I was hoping for four so I could take friends, but I was willing to just do 2- me and DD. Either way, I thought having the presale would at least give me some glimmer of getting seats- I didn't even care where they were or which of the price ranges!
At 10:00 exactly, we kept getting none available on ticketmaster. So they were sold out instantly?
I am cancelling my DDs membership just for the principle of it. Unfortunately I am out the fee, but oh well.... I just wish that cancelling would actually make a difference, but what do they care, they already scammed us and got our money. So now I'll try on Saturday- yeah right- what a joke, HSM was sold out here in something like 3 minutes (Allstate- Chicago). Like there's any chance of us going unless I pay top dollar to a scalper....oh and if I had more time, I'd go off on a tangent about that whole thing. These are little girls!!!! Little girls who want to see their "idol," they know all the songs and love pretending to be a "pop star"- what a shame!
Well, thanks for letting me vent! I tried to call DH and explain my "pain": and he just said "well, now you'll have more time to check Ebay for those Bears tickets!" So I knew you fellow DISers would understand- especially since many of you are in the same boat!

That's a bummer. Before you pay a scalper, have you thought about driving to Indy? You might have better luck there on Saturday. I went on to Hotwire and got a hotel 2 blocks from Consecofield House for $49 for Sunday night.

I TOTALLY hear your pain! It didn't occur to me that I should get the pre-sale code off mileyworld in advance and I couldn't even access the site this morning to get it! At least my girls didn't know about it yet. I did sent an email to MileyWorld sharing my complete displeasure and put a dispute in with my credit card for the membership fee since my 30day free trial ended Sunday!

Advice for those trying for future pre-sales:

Go to MileyWorld BEFORE your pre-sale date and write down the code. Try going directly to Ticketmaster (I could access their site no probloem..grr). MileyWorld will be crashed on the day you try so get the code in advance if you even want to have a chance!

I am in Memphis and was on the ticketmaster website because Mileyworld was down at 9:55 and was told none available in any price range. I tried for a solid hour and a half. I didnt even tell my children about it. I am really ticked because I joined the club for the sole purpose of the presale. I am going to keep trying like at midnight if for some strange reason some are released. I will keep trying until I really get totally put out. Good Luck to everyone else. I truly feel sorry for the ones whose children know about it. At least mine dont yet.

If you will look back at my posts from when I tried for Nashville you will find I am on the soap box with you shouting to the world "DOWN WITH SCALPERS AND TICKET BROKERS". I even put it on my myspace. I finally got some today at Memphis but they are nose-bleed. It really isn't the Cyrus's peoples fault it is our governments. The ones that we pay taxes to are making it more and more legal everyday for scalpers and brokers to get all they want and sell them for what every they want, even if it is for 400x the orginal cost. And the funny thing is, they call it "FREE TRADE".

Woo Hoo, we are dancing, too!!!!! I got 4 tickets to Bossier City (my friend scored 4 as well)! We didn't mention to our girls that today was the presale, just in case we didn't get the tickets. Now we can tell them! I wish we didn't have to drive 4 1/2 hours, but I know the girls will love it! I am praying they schedule a concert in Lafayette, New Orleans, or some other Gulf Coas venue on the TBD date of 11/16. I am sorry that some of the venues sold out so quickly. We have run into this problem several times before. I just don't understand how the ticket brokers are able to get the tickets so quickly? I would keep trying with the presale code until the general public date. Maybe they will release some more seats. Good luck!

Well...let me join the group and say I am ticked with all this!!! I was trying for Houston tickets and got the same thing everyone else was getting...already sold out!!! I have also canceled my DD's membership to Mileyworld. Luckly I didn't loose my fee!! So there (me sticking my tongue out)

PS I do feel sorry about Miley because this isn't her fault. I hope it doesn't hurt her any.

I am pretty poed with this whole thing also. It is really sad that these tickets are on sale now on ebay for hundreds of dollars. I tried this morning and my code would not work. I am so upset that there were no more tickets left by the time I got my correct code. I know there are many people out there who bought the tickets with the intention of selling on ebay for 500 bucks a piece. It is so said that they are taking away the tickets away from the people who actually want to go. If this was for me I would not care but I know how bad my daughter wants to go and I just am so ticked at the scalpers out there feeding into a parents emotion.

I understand all of your frustrations. Fortunately, I was able to get 4 tix to Greensboro this morning no problem using my Fan Club code. Here is what I would suggest to those trying in the future.

1) check your mileworld code the day before. Make sure it is the same
one they e-mailed you. They should have e-mailed it to you also.

2) go to the ticket master page 30 mins before the pre-sale starts.
go to the page where you enter the ticket search. It will say the
tickets are not on sale yet. That's right because you are 30 mins
early.

3) get your pre-sale code into a paste buffer. Highlight your code
from the e-mail or from the site and issue the copy sequence (for
windows PCs, ctl-c, for Mac, apple-C). This gets the code into
a paste buffer so you don't have to type it.

4) Test your paste buffer. Open wordpad or notepad, textedit and
hit the paste sequence (clt-v, or apple-v). You should see your
code pasted into the word, wordpad or notepad document. If
not, go back to step 3 and get this working, it will save you time.

5) now your ready. about 3 mins before the time for the pre-sale
begins, start "refreshing" that web page you are on. When you
see the page change and allows # of tickets, password, etc. you
are ready.

6) select the number of tickets you need, in the password box, hit your
paste sequence (ctl-v, or apple-v) password should paste in (no typing or
typing errors). Click on the kind of tickets you want (best availble, lower level, upper level, etc) hit submit and cross your fingers.

My wife and I had 2 computers going. Our strategy was: I would submit the
search for lower level and she would submit the search for best available.
We both got tickets offered, but the lower level search offered back the best tickets. We bought those and were extremely happy.

Hopefully, these tips will help others in the future. For those who have missed out on prior sales I can offer this tip:

About 1 week before the show, the arena will open more seats once the
production crew knows how big the stage stuff is and where eveything
will be located. These newly opened seats will be floor seats near the
stage. Not necessarily "great" seats, but very good and sometime even great. We landed some of those seats for the cheatah girls tour last year.

Great tips however they do not email codes, at least not anymore. I noticed on the email I received 8/13 for the 8/14 presale it says you'll receive a code via email but the subsequent emails tell you to go to MileyWorld for the code. Thing is it is highly unlikely you'll be able to access MileyWorld at the time of the pre-sale so don't bother. Have the code and go to Ticketmaster directly if you want to have a hope.

They should also change the part about selling out in HOURS to SECONDS! I wonder how many or what % of tix are part of the pre-sale.

No Kidding on "gone in seconds". I was there refreshing with my code ready and got nothing...the big 0.

Maybe the All State Arena Tickets were harder to get then other cities...or maybe my refresh was a millionth of a second off!

I remember trying for the High School Musical Tickets. I got a big 0 there too. I ended up going through the ticketmaster auction....
If I remember correctly, Ticketmaster's auction was for the floor sections for that concert.
Unless I win the lottery before the auction ends we might not be going!

I did not sign up for the Miley membership either. I believe the presale began in my CHicago area yesterday at 10am. I wonder if I will still be able to get tickets when the general sale begins. My DH told me to just pay the 29.95 for the membership then get tickets for my DD and myself but, it just seems like so much money and that's not including what we'll spend at the concert. I must sound like the cheapest DM ever...

Don't feel cheap I spent the 29.95 over a week ago and I wish I hadn't b/c I couldn't even get a single presale ticket. So now I am out that money plus I planned on purchasing the best possible seats available. Oh well I hope they have some left on sat morning.

If all else fails, take a look at Stubhub - their best prices were about 3X the Ticketmaster price in my area, but at least you don't get into a bidding war.

Remember, if your willing to wait it out, Every venue will release more seats
as soon as the production crew gives them final plans for the setup. These
seats will be near the stage and on the floor.

About 2-3 weeks before the actual concert date, keep checking ticketmaster
at 10am sharp every day and search for "best available" seats. When those
newly released become available, maybe you will get lucky and get some.
