Now I’m really confused. I checked our booking under BA website since I booked under American both going and return but there’s a section about adding passports which is no problem but then there’s another part which sounds more like for people coming from the UK to the US.

Also when I booked like I said it was through American Airlines website so we’re on American goung but British coming home. I paid to upgrade to main cabin plus. The same choices came up when I booked return so I’m hoping I get the same benefits as going

Sorry but one more thing I noticed for 11$ more I can book the upper deck which would be fun. Anyone ever book these they look and sound grest
Sorry for rambling but at this point I feel a little overwhelmed

Be sure to check the flight fares again and again, I booked American and 4 days later the fares dropped abt $550 for RT
I called American and they gave me the newest/lowest rate which was Significant savings They emailed me the "voucher" which is good for 1 year.

Difficult to understand what the actual question is. Whether paying to sit on the top level is worth it?

Do you mean the contact tracing info they ask for? That always trips me up when I'm flying to Europe, as they ask for it during online check in for the first flight (to Europe). But it's for when you're returning home. I just put my home address.

I guess that’s would it be when I went onBA. And looked up our flight and scrolled down I came across passbook number and then address in the US which that part is what made me think it’s for people coming from theUK to the US. And yes the other part is if anyone knows anything about the upper deck on BA. Sure looks and sounds nice I had already paid to pick our seats so that’s why it’s only 11$ more

The economy class (BA World Traveller Class) seats on the upper deck of the A380 are the same as on the main deck (scroll down to the second image in the link below). In my opinion, the main benefit of the upper deck economy seats are for couples; the two outside sections of seats are in pairs rather than three. The window seats also get a little compartment between the seat and the window.

The upper deck also houses premium economy (World Traveller Plus) and business class (Club World) cabins. Seats in either of those cabins will cost you more than $11 extra.

I prefer the upper deck because the cabin is smaller so food is served more quickly which means you get more time to sleep on an overnight flight. It is also a bit more quiet.
