Any Imagineers out there?

Are there any Imagineers on this site at all? I've made several of these posts but to no avail. So, here it goes once again,

Are there any Imagineers out there that could answer some of my questions? I want to be an Imagineer one day and i would love to know how to prepare educationally for possibly Illusioneering but really anything, maybe a little bit about life at Imagineering, things like that. I would really appreciate it if any Imagineer would talk to me a little. PM me or reply here, doesn't matter.

there are many kinds of Imagineers at WDI. Not all design rides, others do purchase invoices, others refurbish animatronics, and so on. Just go to college, major in what you love, and go from there.

I would agree with the pp and add this. The key I would think is getting a "foot in the door" with WDW (or DL). You gave no indication of where you are in life ...college student, high school ? I don't think you can train outside of the Disney community to become an Imagineer. If you go to
www.disneycareers.com and just look around you will see alot of "roles" and what the hiring requirements are. There are enormous opportunites for college students. Good luck to you in pursuing your dream
