Any Ideas?

I take a lot of pictures that I like with my Nikon D3100 but I feel like I'm wasting my time because I dont know what to do with my photos once I take em.

Anybody have any ideas?
Know of any photo contests that are free to enter?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

How about posting them to Flickr?!?! They have groups for absolutely everything. I find that community atmosphere a big help in gettinge to always improve. And it's just great to see what others are doing as well.

And don't forget the Photo of the Day threads here, as well.

Like Scott said, join Flickr! I enjoy posting photos and looking at other's. There are forums for just about every camera brand. I also enjoy the forums on DPreview.com and FroKnowsPhoto.com.

Upload to Flickr and enjoy the Disney photo community there.

And then get you an Apple TV. You can set it to show random photos from your Flickr stream. We love turning this on and just watching the photos!

Several years ago I read an article that discussed your question.

It suggested doing things like finding photo boards that match your hobbies (e.g. Disney or different outdoors-oriented ones or scrap booking or whatever). I post my outdoor stuff at summitpost.org and there are literally hundreds of other hobby oriented boards out there!

There are also several Disney photo threads in the "Theme Parks Community" section of the "Theme Parks and Strategies" Forum right here on DIS too.

I also make photo calendars for holiday gifts and posters for the walls at work. And as others have suggested I make photo books to commemorate my travels.

Keep looking around and I'm sure you'll find ways to express your creativity!
