any ideas when air tran will open up April? How about SW?

Best fare so far is $954 for the 4 of us round trip for spring break time, Tuesday-Tuesday. Not including the $150 or $200 extra for bags. This is on United.
I know SW just opened up through March 6, but not seeing any good fares being reported that would be lower than United fare plus bags. Air tran is only through March. Any ideas when either of them will open up for April?

I don't know, but I hope AirTran will still be operating as AirTran in April - and not as Southwest.

Is that a possibility? I've flown both, and while I like both I did prefer Southwest a little. I just want to go ahead and book soon, but not until these two options are available to check.

At some point in 2012, AirTran planes will be Southwest planes. I don't know when that will happen, but I'm hoping for later rather than sooner.
