Just trying to get some good advice on our short, June 24th-26th Disneyworld vacation. We are staying at the The Radison Resort Parkway and I am traveling with 2 DD's (3 & 6) and DW ( age withheld). I know this isn't enough time but we have no choice. My girls are into the whole princess thing and I am sure we will spend some time at the MK. What other things would you recommend us seeing/doing? Any advice will be welcomed. Thanks

My favorite tip is to go to Crystal Palace for first seating PS breakfast. The characters there are Winnie-the-Pooh. It is a breakfast buffet, very good food IMHO. But the best part is this...if you go to first seating on a NON Extra Magic Hour day for MK, you will get done eating in time to be one of the first to hit Fantasyland, go there right away and ride those rides before the crowds hit. You can probably get them all in just before the lines start to fill up. Do Mickey's Philharmagic last, because it is a larger theater and can hold more people than most of the other rides. We usually go to Winnie the Pooh's ride, then Peter Pan, then the rest. Last time we were there just as we finished It's a small world and were going to Mickey's Philharmagic the line for Peter Pan was already up to 30 minutes. We had walked on to it not 20 minutes before that. I think that's the best time of day to do Fantasyland.

Have Fun!!

For sure, do a princess meal. I would recommend the Epcot Storybook Princess Breakfast (Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan and Jasmine) AND Cinderella's Gala Feast at the Grand Floridian (Cinderella, Prince Charming, Perla, Suzy, Fairy Godmother). Cinderella's Royal Table at the castle in MK is also wonderful, but it a royal (ha ha) pain in the rear to get a PS for. So don't sweat it--do the former two if you can't get a PS at the Castle.

Also, do the Wonderland Tea Party at the Grand Floridian. My two DDs LOVE this!!! It is at 1:30, daily. Alice and the Mad Hatter are hosts, and it is CHILDREN ONLY :hyper: :hyper: You and DW can have lunch while your DDs have tea!!!!

My other recommendation is to GO EARLY--AT OPENING!!! You won't have lines, and you can bail out of the parks before gridlock happens. Go to the pool, go to the Wonderland Tea Party, take naps, etc. Then head back to the parks in the PM for Spectomagic and Fireworks.

Call at the 90 day out and try and get Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast at the MK for your princess lovers. If you can't get that, do Princess Storybook at Norway.

Definately do MK for your DD's. You may want to visit AK for another day for the animials? <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_3_167.gif' border=0></a> You could do a half day and head over to MGM for the evening and see Fantasmic that evening?

Can you add more days? You are not there long enough to even feel comfortable driving in WDW let alone start to seen anything. Are you doing WDW on the 24, 25, and 26 with travel days on each day of those days?

Get to the parks early at opening. Take lots of water and give each girl a squeeze breeze to carry around their necks to keep themselves cool; it's gonna be hot!!!! <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/1054.gif' border=0></a> You may want to take some breaks in the afternoons to swim<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/1007.gif' border=0></a>, but you don't have a lot of time there, so you may want to see how the girls do and play that one by ear.

Happy planning!!!!!!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_20.gif' border=0></a>

If you are not doing any breakfasts at MK try to go to Toon Town first. The reason I say this is because our first year taking our DD she was 2 and we went to Toon Town at 2pm and waited over an hour in the hot sun to see Mickey (part of the line is outside and the other part inside).

The next year we took the MK train straight to Toon Town when MK opened and we got right in to see Mickey because everybody else is in Fantasyland and Main Street. When you do Toon Town first you know you have that special picture with Mickey and there are other characters there as well, sometimes Cinderella too. With this out of the way you can enjoy the rest of your day.

Have a magical vacation!!!

You are in a tough situation. My advise would be - don't over do it, lower your expectations. Pick out a few must see/do things and be happy.

With a 3 year old you will need to take it easy. You will need to either shorten your day or take a break mid-day (which will be a little more difficult staying offsite).

Are you getting single park tickets, or parkhopper and just going to have a day(s) left over for your next trip ?

My advise - which is probably unpopular for this board - use this trip as a preview for a future trip.

I do not know the sleep requirements of the youngest, but my 3 year old still needs about 11 hours of sleep. Mine could make one real long day, but not two or three in a row.

Unless you plan on returning in the next 1 - 2 years, I would buy single day tickets, not mess with multi-day passes that you may loose sitting in a drawer at home. I would probably spend 2 days at MK and another day at either AK or MGM, whichever you feel the girls would most enjoy.

I would arrive early, and plan on spending 6 - 8 hours in the park dejour, then going back to the hotel, relax, get to bed early so the girls, especially the youngest is not over tired.

I agree with the above posts - go early to Fantasyland and Toontown. Although check the schedule, I'm not positive all the Toontown attractions are open immediately when the park opens.

CRT would be wonderful. As stated reservations are taken up to 90 days in advance, call on the 90th day (March 24?).

I'm sure some of my comments are not the norm, but if I was in your position, it is what I would do.

Have a great trip, just keep your expectations in line with your children's ages and your limited number of days.

Welcome to the Dis Devdog:earsboy: If 6/24-6/26 includes your arrival and departure days, you really have limited time. However, I think you could do a comprehensive tour of the MK in that time. For breaks, consider hopping the monorail to one of the resorts for lunch or dinner would be a good idea. With that time frame at that time of year, I don't think I would even attempt another park. The other thing you could do is DTD, but with little kids that will have limited appeal. Have fun, and start planning your next trip;)
