Hate to see any points wasted. We have 75 points left on our 2006 June use year. We were planning to go to VB April 9-13,2007 Ocean View Inn using 72 points leaving 3 points. We plan on banking 2007 points to take a big trip 2008. If I bank we would wind up losing them since we aren't using any for 2007- right?

To rent them seems silly for the $30 I'll get. Does Disney have a donation program maybe for Make a Wish or something? Any other ideas?

here is one when those 3 points transferred to someone else account might help...

anyway good luck!

You need 6 points for HH in Dec studio.

if someone contacts you to transfer to their account - remember only once per year are you allowed to transfer.

So these are points good through June 2007? If you bank the 3, won't they will be good until June 2008? When is your 2008 trip?

We were planning a summer trip in 08 but maybe I should retink- thanks for the tips.

Disney does not offer any donation program like that.

Some members have made ressies, and then donated the ressie to "Give Kids The World," a wonderful charity in Orlando that makes Disney vacations happen for children with severe medical situations. I don't think it's feasible to actually place the kids at WDW, but Give Kids The World uses the ressies as treats for some of their many unpaid volunteers, I believe.

There are probably other options, but that's the only one I've read about.

You'd have to check with a tax professional to be sure, but a points or ressie donation would not normally be tax-deductible.
