Any ideas about changing a ressie?

We have a 1br at BCV through RCI. I would like to PAY to upgrade to a 2 br, but can't figure out how to do so without losing the value of the 1br. I called CRO and was told we would have to cancel the 1br and rebook a 2 br. Of course, I want to pay the difference between a 1 & 2 br, but the (very nice) CM had no way to help.

I previously called about adding a studio, but there were none available for 12-19 Sept.

Anyone have an ideas? Should I call MS or RCI? I know we will love BCV so I can't lose if I have to keep what I have.

I don't believe you can. You can not combine points nights and cash nights.

In your case, I think (and someone else will correct me), you would have to trade in for a 2 bedroom or the studio (which you say are not available) to do it.

Sorry - there is no way to upgrade an exchange through Member Services or CRO. You would have to work with RCI. I have no idea how RCI handles such things, but my guess is that you would have to cancel the 1 bedroom and re-trade for a 2 bedroom. Availability would be the problem, I'm sure.
