It's my wedding anniversary in a few week's and as we did the big celebration for last years i asked DH what he thought about making it a bit more interesting this year and setting a budget of £10 max each to spend.(no i haven't missed a 0 off the end ;) ) He's agread but i'm quite stumped as for idear's.

Has anyone got any idear's?

I have got a bit of an idear but i'm not sure if it nice or naff for a man.Unfortunatly i can't tell you what it is as DH might read it. :teeth: If you want to give me your opinion though send me a pm. :rotfl:

I think its a great idea to set a limit as it makes you more inventive! Anyone can spend £50 on flowers or something but this really shows you care enough to put lots of thought into it. :love2:

It's tricky to think of something special/unusual on a strict budget, but I agree it does make you think hard and plan something which makes it more personal.

What about getting a friend to take a picture of you - sexy if that's what he'd like and you're comfortable with - or glamorous - and have it framed for him?

Whatever you decide, have a great day.

How about buying some lovely food and an expensive bottle of wine and making a special meal?

He won't like me telling everyone this but he does like romantic gestures. He's quite soft at heart. :teeth:

Gill, the idear of the budget is to come up with somthing special,I could go out and spend alot more than that on him but would it be as personal. We thought this way we would have to put some thought into it.

It doesn't have to be something that i actually buy him,it could be something i make for nearly no money at all.

Actually, Vicky, I was saying what a nice idea it is to do something personal rather than just spend money - which is why I thought a photo of you might be nice. Sorry, I thought I was tryng to help.

Sorry Gill,I was just trying to explain why we had set a budget of such a low amount.Sorry if it didn't come across that way,it's my fault for replying in a rush.

I should have also added before that i thought you photo idear was a lovely thought and something he would really like.I'm just unsure if i could actully do it,my body's not my favourite part. It's something i really will think about though,if i can get someone to do it that won't laugh. :teeth:

Sorry again,it's what i get for rushing replies.

How about something connected with your first date or watching the first film you saw together?

Not too inspired today sorry!

How about a head and shoulders photo in a nice frame and make a card for him?

kx

Thankyou for all the idears.

I will make his card,it will save me some money out of by budget. :teeth:

Our first date was driving around the village where i lived with a friend of his,i don't think that will work, though a lovely thought if it had been a proper date. :rotfl: I will think long and hard about the first film we went to see as i can't remember it now.I can't remember what i did last week, nevermind 14 years ago. ;)

Vicky

I dont know if your husband has a cd player or tape in the car, prehaps you could download or tape some songs that mean a lot to both of you, from over the years you have been together, wouldnt cost much money and the sentiment would be lovely. :goodvibes

Sue :cutie:

Maybe you could put together a kind of album or scrapbook of your time together - get copies of photographs you've had taken over the years, any other sentimental things you may have kept, some notes of your memories of a particular occasion?
