On site at Universal? I'd like to book for April 2011 but can't seem to be able to on their website....

Thanks!

They haven't released the '11 rates for online booking yet. Waiting for that to happen...seems a lot of us are in the same boat.

i am waiting for oct 11 dates - i waited too long this year and couldnt get a deal for HHN so i booked at a condo - i NEED to stay on site next year

We called direct to RPR a month ago and booked a club level room for March 2011 with no problem. You have to put one night deposit down at the time of booking but now we have our room secured and I will stay on it for any discounts that arise between now and then.

Ok, so i have to call...I thought I should be able to do it online. With the kids home for the summer, my free time is limited, and I wanted to surprise them with that part of our trip...

i'll give a call when I have a few minutes.

Thanks to you all for your help.

We're going in March 2011 also. What were the room rates for that date? I'm in the same boat, I can't get rates online.

I called a few days ago. For mid-March, RPR weekday was $274 and weekend was $294. Add tax to these amounts.

Much too expensive for what you get in my mind, so I think we'll book a townhome or condo at Vista Cay and have multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen for breakfast, & room to spread out, and book 2 separate nights at Universal hotel so we have 4 days of FOTL!

This will give us FOTL for 4 of our 6 days at Universal parks with room for my family of 4 to spread out instead of squeezing into a single hotel room that doesn't even have a mini-frig so we could have a quick, easy in-room breakfast. The combined total for 7 nights at Vista Cay and 2 nights at RPR saves over $500 compared to 7 nights at RPR! Best of both worlds for us!

For us, even if a discounted rate is available, we'd much prefer the accomodations at Vista Cay over a Universal hotel, so we'd still do it this way. Just wanted to mention it in case this hadn't occurred to someone else. :goodvibes

At those rates, we'll only stay one night then, and then head over to Cocoa Beach for two nights. Much more reasonable. But, we'll get FOTL for a day and a half anyway...better than nothing.

As others have said, you have to call to get a reservation. Booked Feb 18th and 19th today (President's Week) at 294 standard view. Hoping to apply AAA or something-- way too pricey for this DVC gal.
