I am wanting to plan a trip for Feb 15-18 and need those AP rates! Any clue when they'll be out ?? Does anyone know of any other discounts/codes for this time?

Thanks

I really doubt there will be an AP rate for that time, right now all there is is AAA & Disney Club (about the same). ~:(~

If you are set on going, and can't be flexible with your dates, then book either a AAA or DC rate while you can still get it. This way you will at least have a room, and if any codes come out or AP rates for that time, you can just have the reservation adjusted. :):D:)

Here's some info from a travel agent (in response to a similar question) at another Disney planning website:

"I believe we will have the discounts for the end of April and discounts for that time could be released in January or February. The discounts at the moderates have been running 35% off the seasonal rate. Since your check in is Peak season, your room price will be higher. Disney is not as free with discounts in peak season as they are for regular season. Moderates in Peak season if they discounted would run 110.00 night plus tax. If you check in 2 days later 4/27, that would be regular season and the room rate would be 94.00 night plus tax, with a discount. Any chance you can adjust your dates to take advantage of the lower rate and the better chance for big discounts??

I actually think there will be some discounts at the deluxe resorts for peak season. They had some in 2002. Possibly 40% off the peak season rate."

Your dates are peak season and over President' Week which is VERY crowded. Disney doesn't offer discounts during Peak Season, because they don't have to. People will come anyway. Book DC or AAA if you have it because that's likely all you will see.

Just posting to agree with zulaya. DC or AAA are most likely the only on-site room discounts we will see for President's Day week/weekend.

American Express offered a discount rate this year during President's Week, I think we paid $109 a night. Maybe the new Disney Visa will offer something when it comes out in January. We're going 2/21-3/1 and I've already booked with the DC discount but we're still hoping for something better. ~:D~

We don't have DC. Any ideas on what the AAA rate would be -- for All Stars or mods ? Maybe missing a couple days of school would be worth it to save a few hundred.

Thanks

Soccer Princess,
The AAA rate is about the same rate as the DC. Figure about 10-15% off of the rack rates, depending on if it is value or regular season. Call CRO and check with them about the rate. (I think Mary on www.mousesavers.com also has a list of what is regular, value and peak for all of the resorts. ) If your stay starts in one season, and goes into another, you can save by making two reservations. (This always happens to us; we arrive in regular, and it changes to value, so we make 2 ressies, to save money.) :):D:)
