Any idea what's going on in early February?

So I have a room only reservation for the DLH February 2-16. We're only going one week, sometime in there, but aren't sure yet the exact dates (going to change the reservation once the ride closure info is out, etc).

We really want to go the 2-9th if it works out, so I've been keeping an eye on rates for that week in particular. And they just keep getting more expensive at the DLH, with only the view rooms now available. Any idea what's going on that could be causing the hotel (presumably) to fill up during those dates? Wondering if there is something that will cause the park to be more crowded...

May be due to construction. I've been told that the refurbed rooms are "preferred" rooms until the remodel is complete (I guess they finally got wise to people wanting the refurbed rooms) so there are less and less "standard" rooms right now.

I thought that too, but there is TONS of availability the following week, and the rates are a lot cheaper.
