We are going to the world in January and we will be doing some journalling etc for school. Looking for some ideas of something dd & ds can bring back and share with their classmates. Keep in mind they are age 6, in the same class and have 23 classmates.

I had originally thought maybe oranges but someone pointed out that I may not be allowed to bring them back across the border.

Thanks for any ideas

Angela

My nephew brought back with him on our trip last year Salt Water taffy from Disneyworld to share with all his classmates He also used his big brown eyes to get a lot of those Mickey stickers they give out so he had enough for his whole class too.

You can buy 2 couple of bags of the Mickey head cheddar bits (like goldfish) for $3 a bag or the Mickey head pretzels (sorry not sure on the $)

We brought back Mickey Mouse cookies and stickers that we brought from the shop at CSR. The kids loved them! S

from Mission Space is a HUGE hit:)

There's not much in the bags, but enough for each kids to try a little of each...our boys are in the same class too..the stickers are a great idea..and taffy, cookies, pretzels are all really affordable too...and none of it took up much rooom.

Many of the non-Disney Souvenir stores have Disney pencils - 5 for $1. Then you don't have to worry about food allergies.

We bought Disney suckers from Walmart on Hwy 27. It had about 50 suckers in each bag for $2.

suckers, lolly pops, stickers, straws and pencils. My DD was able to get her best friend somthing special but mainly these trips are just for us as selfish as it may sound.

PS most of my colleges don't understand why I go to WDW every year so I've given up tying to please them and the DD friends come and go each year so not a big deal anymore.

DVC RULES.!

my son's friend made necklaces for the entire class out of seashells

I would have to go with Mickey's straws from the food court of your resort!!

If you ask nicely, lots of the Disney stores will give you stickers for free.

DD brought back post cards with a pressed penny taped to the back.

Not sure how much the post cards are ($1), but the pressed pennies are 51cents each.

She addressed each card to each student.

On a trip in the past (2003), when I worked at the daycare I wanted to bring something back for the kids...I read on these boards somewhere that if you ask they will give you Mickey Straws. We went into the store with all the candy (in MK), the one right on the corner or main street (it has the hat embrodering beside it). They were nice enough to give us enough straws for all the kids in my class (8) and also in my sisters (16),plus a few extras for the boys that were with us. Just ask it won't hurt!

I asked for a handful of the small bags they use in the gift shops, and put a couple of stickers, Mickey napkin and a Mickey lollypop in each, plus a Mickey soap saved from the room - DS only brought back for his special friends as there are 30 in his class :earseek:

We are leaving today for Disney and since my daughter has 30 kids in her class we are planning on buying a picture of Mickey and Minney and having them autograph the picture and address it to my daughters class.
