Any Idea if I can change my incentive?

We are thinking of taking a trip in march and could use the extra points. Can we change from the 8$ off to the developer points? Would we have to get a new contract to do that?

Where are you in the purchase process. When we bought our first contract at OKW I did that. We had originally taken the $off but then decided we wanted the points. I did this less than a week after getting home after signing the contract while at WDW so don't know if there is a time frame to do it. They just put the extra amount on my credit card and I had my points instead. That was one of the times when it was actually selling them the points back so don't know if it would be treated the same way. Good luck

I haven't even sent my papers back. I am sending them back tomorrow. So the contract doesn't need to be changed at all?

The only people who can really help you are the DVC sales department. I would call your guide first thing tomorrow, and if he/she isn't available, ask for a supervisor, since you already have the paperwork in hand.

If you do not already have a reservation for that time period that you can switch with developer points I would make sure that there is still availbility before you switch from the $8 to the developer points.

Looks like even if you dont want to use them you would be better off getting them and renting them out given the massive demand for points on the rental boards

I have a trip planned for March. I banked my 06 points points. So I had to borrow points. Can I use the D points for that stay and will they return them into my 2007 UY?

The best answer is for you to call your guide and get the "Official" answer..sorry
