Any hope for 'Ohana without a reservation?

When we went to Disney in 2008, 'Ohana was our one of our favorite places. We just found out we're going to be able to go to WDW in late may but of course, every reservation is taken. Is it possible to get a table without a reservation?

I would keep trying. It might be possible sometimes people do not show up but plan on waiting. We were late due to transportation issues and they squeezed us in but we waited a LONG time.

'Ohana has become the hardest restaurant to get. I would keep trying on line multiple times a day. Also it would help to be flexible in your time and date. You can try walking up, but I would imagine a lot of people are going to try as well so that would be a last resort.

Keep checking online every day (or 2-3 times a day) for cancellations. If you can't get one, try showing up about 20 minutes prior to opening. I was once told by a cast member at the check-in desk that the best chance for a walk-up here is to arrive at opening. Good luck.

Go EARLY. They open for check-in at 4:45 and start serving at 5. By then the line will probably be past Kona, as people start getting in line well before 4:30 and a good many of them are getting in line because they don't have reservations.

ITA. If you want to get in there I would go 15 minutes before the restaurant opens and be REALLY sweet to the host/hostess, or go at the end of the night where there seems to be less people who want to eat late.

We went to CM last year about 4:45 and my dh was really sweet and funny to the hostess. She then whispered to dh to stick around and she actualy was able to seat all 6 of us then. So you many get lucky!

Our trip is still over 3 months away but I have been trying obsessively to get 'Ohana for a early dinner. DH decided about a month after our 180 day mark that he wanted to go back there! I tried just before I left work this morning ... nothing for our whole trip Got to work 30 minutes later, decided to duck in real quick & give it a try and lo and behold a 5:20 came up on one of the nights I was hoping for! People cancel and makes changes all the time. Just takes a bit of persistence (and a lot of luck) to be at the computer when someone cancels!

I've been trying for awhile & so far the only thing I've been able to get is 9:30 pm... ICK... Hopefully something will pop up!!!

I finally got a 9:50. Much later than I would rather have dinner. I will keep checking until we leave and when we're there for an earlier time but thankfully I know we'll at least get to eat there even if it is late. Thanks again!
