Ok, I know I am late  but, when I tried to make our ADR's yesterday for our Sept/Oct trip, I could not get 3 reservations that I really wanted....Anyone going Sept 27-Oct 7 that is going to cancel ADR's that might want to give a head's up? I am looking for:

Le Cellier (I know I am dreaming) Any Dinner.
Chef Mickey 9/27 Early Dinner
Liberty Tree Tavern 10/2 Early Dinner (We have MNSSP tix)

I will try calling back, but I know that is a long shot, so I thought I would put the Diser's on it.....Thanks for any help!!

I am going to be there on some of those dates, but I will not be cancelling any ADRs that I am aware of. I did cancel one for CRT lunch on September 28, and I posted it as soon as I did cancel. I think it may help if you can edit and rewrite your thread title adding those dates in it somehow. It might help catch the eye of some of the DISers that will be there on those dates.
Here's wishing you pixie dust and some openings......... :wizard:

Keep trying - even call WDW dining on your phone (a button should be there, no charge) when you get to your WDW resort.
You never know who will be polite and cancel.

If no ADR then....
On 9/27 - get to Chef Mickeys 15 minutes before they open at 4:45 PM. Ask at the podium if there is any availability. Say you are willing to wait. I bet they will give you a pager. They have many tables to sit families.

LeCellier - a bit harded to get, I would do a backup place in EPCOT. Then go to LeCellier, see if you can get in. It it is an absolute NO, then do your backup. Rose & Crown would be a nice backup and about a 5 minute walk from Canada to United Kingdom.

LTT - very polular. If NO ADR by phone even the day before - then do a backup. How about the dinner buffet at Crystal Palace for a backup ?

When we were in WDW last month we wanted to switch our le Cellier ADRs to a different night (I had no idea it's such a popular restaurant). The man at the guest services desk at POR was very helpful, but told us that our chances for getting a different le Cellier ADR was nearly impossible. But he said he'd check anyway, and it turned out someone had JUST cancelled it for that very night. So if you really want to go there, then I just suggest you keep trying, even when you are already on your trip. You never know when someone will cancel.
