Okay - if this is a daft question I am sorry. I am a bit embarrassed to phone up BT and ask them.
Anyway we have BT Total Broadband, with Option 1. We use a router, not a Home Hub and we just have our computer and phone line connected to it.
I want to know about connecting a second computer and both computers being connected to the internet at the same time. Is this possible?
The BT website says this is 'home networking' and is possible, either as 'wired' or 'wireless'. Because the 'wireless' way means a BT Homehub - that's ALL the website then talks about - bearing in mind they are really trying to sell this at the moment. There is no mention of what the 'wired' way to do this is. I don't really want to buy a Homehub. I want to do it with our current set up.
I hope this makes sense and that there is someone out there who can tell me if this is possible BEFORE we go and buy a laptop.
