Any guesses?

I saw on Mousesavers.com today that a "little bird" told Mary that
a new resort only discount code available to everyone through the summer
months will be announced next weekend.

Any guesses as to whether or not the code will offer the kind of
savings offered by Disney last summer?

My guess would be no based on the discounts offered thus far this year. The AP Holder discounts have been considerably less than prior years and the "code" discounts offered earlier this year were okay, but were not $49 per night at the All-Stars (like last year).

Fargoman!!!!!!!!!! You caught the DIS bug on your trip last summer eh? If only the Contemporary wasn't being used for the SOG rehab.:p I haven't seen any discounts come close to those of last summer yet. ( I can hope) Especially not for anyone who lives up north or out west. Lets keep hoping...

My guess is, we probably won't be too impressed, when you figure in Disney's past and projected losses. I think if they plan to use a strategy they won't give discounts better than APs, only to "lock in" some guests. But based on what I have seen so far, we probably won't enjoy too many spectacular, room only discounts and maybe the trend will continue to be to offer the room + LOS packages masked as deals..

Not to sway your choice of theme parks but have you checked into the new Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Studios? They have a standard room at the entertainment club rate of $99 p night, and then you receive the front of the line perk at both universal parks. ATA has a special companion fare sale on until April 8....also the universal web site has a special "bonus" pass of about $100 a person for a 5 day pass to both parks. I know it's not 4 parks like WDW and it's different in its own way...but the bottom line is it's 1/2 the price of a 5 day hopper fpr WDW. A downside is no food court so meals are potentially more expensive, but it's just a thought if you feel the need for some Orlando fun!:smooth:

FINFAN--thanks for the suggestion.

I actually thought about going to Universal this time--intrigued by some
of the deals they are offering. However, upon further review, I ultimately
decided Universal isn't for us--at least not now. Perhaps it will be
more appealing to my kids when they are older.

Thanks again for the idea.
