Any great production shows at Disneyland or DCA like the Aladin show from 15 years ago?

At DCA about 15 years ago I think I remember watching a really good production show of Aladin do they have anything like that now?

They are casting for Hercules to run later in the year.

DCA had Frozen, until the Pandemic - it was suspended, and did not return. There really isn’t anything at DCA now.

DLR had Mickey and the Magic Map, but that was also suspended during the pandemic and Disney announced it would not be returning. They will be introducing Tale of the Lion King (originally from WDW) to replace it - some time this spring I believe.

I seem to remember that Akkadian was at DLR? I could be mistaken - never went to see it.

Aladdin was in DCA at Hyperion Theatre. It was replaced by a Frozen stage show. Since covid, there has been no show there but they are preparing for a limited run of Rogers the Musical - from the MCU.

Thanks for correcting that! I must’ve been looking at year old info. We passed by it several time on our last trip in October and never saw any activity. Unfortunately our next trip is a one-dayer, so we won’t have time to check it out.

When they started casting for the upcoming show, some people read the descriptions and came to the conclusion that it would be Hercules. Disney had not then said what it would be. Disney has since announced it will be Rogers: the Musical. It's only one show, not two. The Hercules speculation was wrong. (Source)

My biggest gripe post Covid is the lack of great shows. We miss Mickey and the Magical Map and Frozen so much!
