Hello, and welcome to the Holiday Cooking extravaganza. I am your host Chef Jeff and today I will be helping you to prepare a Disney themed romantic dinner to share with those that you love.
We will start off our dinner with a wonderful and easy soup. Begin by boiling a pot of water. Don't worry to much about how much water because if you boil to much, just leave it on the stove for a while and it will magically disappear. Once the water is bubbling (from being hot, not from blowing air through a straw), you are ready to add your Disney ingredients. First, you will need some bouillon cubes. These come in two flavors, beef and chicken. I prefer the beef for two reasons. First, everything already tastes like chicken so this is a nice change. Second, according to the advertisement on television, Beef, its whats for dinner. This is the tricky part, these bouillon cubes are square so take your pocket knife and after wiping it off on your pants to make sure it is clean, trim the corners off so that the cube becomes round. Do that for 3 cubes then lick the edges of two of the cubes and stick them to the third one. Voila, instant Mickey heads. Drop those puppies into the boiling water and in 5 minutes you have soup.
While your guests are enjoying their gourmet soup du jour, you can begin making the main course. For this you will need two things, a phone and your zip code. Go to
www.dominos.com and enter your zip code. You will be given a phone number to dial. When the dude with the cracking voice answers, tell them you want 2 small cheese pizzas and a large pepperoni. Here is the tricky part, tell them to arrange the pepperoni on the large so it looks like a face. Oh, and tell them you have a coupon (even if you dont because they never ask for it anyway). Within 20 minutes, an eager assistant will deliver to your door a wonderful and festive meal. Take the three pizzas and arrange them on a large table so that they form the shape of Mickey ears and watch the excitement of your guests as they see all the work you have done.
To top off such a splendid meal, it is usually customary to serve a fancy dessert that is as much food as it is a work of art. For this you will need miniature and regular sized Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. On a fancy plate, place a large Peanut Butter cup in the center. Above that, place 2 miniature Peanut Butter Cups so that it forms Mickeys ears. That alone would be a wonderful dessert but add this special touch to hear those ooos and ahs. Take Hersheys syrup and drizzle (fancy word for squirt) it all over the plate. For a special treat, spell out Mickey in chocolate syrup. Throw some powdered sugar on the plate and a couple of grapes that are lying around the cupboard and you have a fancy dessert that would cost like $20 in those nice restaurants.
I will guarantee you that if you serve this meal at your next holiday dinner party, people will be talking about this for the rest of your life.
