Any good yard sale deals this weekend?

I always love reading the yard sale deals posts, but didn't see one for this weekend.

We had a great yard sale day!

Our biggest find (IMO) was a pair of men's roller skates for $5!
I have been looking for a pair for my son because he wants to go skating Friday nights, but he does not know how to skate and I am not going to have him break his wrist! He will start practicing ASAP on his skating skills!

Other finds :

5 boxes of current Romance Books (2009 - 2011 Harlequin, Silhouette) for $20.

And on Craigslist we found a gently used drumset for our son (he is taking a percussion class next year in high school and has taken a rhythm drum class for the past 2 years in junior high) for $200! He paid for half and the other half is his "end of junior high" present from us. He had a cheap "First Act" childs drumset for the past year, and really needed to update to a more intermediate set.

All in all, it was a great weekend for yard sales (thank you Mr. Sun!!! ) and we got a lot of goodies!

I happened upon a Disney fans dream yard sale today, this woman had a ton of Disney collectables but thankfully I didn't have much cash on me because if I had I would have been in some trouble,lol. My treasure of the day for me was The Magic Kingdom board game, it's in great condition the woman said they played it maybe once or twice! I got the game, a large Mickey snowglobe, a small Tink snowglobe, 2 brand new fiesta type platters for a Cinco de Mayo dinner I'm having next week and 4 brand new Arthur chapter books for my DS still in the shrink wrap. Total paid $5.00!

I got an Eiffel Tower lamp for $10. My DD14 has her bedroom decorated in Paris?Zebra print. We have been looking for a lamp for over a year, This one is just the right size all I need to do is paint it silver.

My son went to garage sales by himself today for the first time (he's 11). He had earned $120 at our garage sale on Thursday and Friday. He came home with quite a find. He had a REALLY old video camera with dead batteries, a Star Wars gun and an old briefcase all for $2! Why the briefcase? I'm glad he only spent $2, but WTH?

I went on my own and didn't find anything good.

Oh we're excited! Today we're helping an elderly lady who just sold her house, clean out her garage. She's letting us have whattever we want. I have no idea what we'll find....

as I had my own yard sale....but I made just over $900.00


I am sunburned & completely exhausted, but it was worth it. The $$ is my WDW spending money next month!
