Any good value in the concierge collection?

For all the years I have owned my points, I only stayed at one concierge collection onace. Every time I check out the point chart, it just seems not a good way to use the points, plus the $95 booking fee.

Depending on the cruise pricing, I sometimes even find using the points for the cruise is not a bad option.

Are there good concierge collection resorts worth the number of points they charge?

Using DVC points for anything other than a DVC resort stay is a premium use of points. The term "value" shouldn't be used. Like so many other perks and extras, IMO DVD allows the use of points for these because they help sell direct contracts plus they make money off of the exchange/fees.

Depends on how you value your points. Do you value them based on the annual maintenance fee? The amount you could get for renting via a broker? via your own efforts? Some combination of initial buy-in plus maintenance fees?

I have not found using points to be a better value than paying cash for anything in the Concierge or Adventures By Disney Collections, but realize others may feel differently.
