Carnation Cafe? House of Blues? Rainforest Cafe? ESPN Zone?

I am thinking of making reservations for these places. Are they any good and should I make a reservation for it?

Any others you would recommend to go to along with a 3.5 year old??

Thanks:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Hi!

We've eaten at the ESPN Zone a couple of times and enjoyed it! The food was great and it was child friendly. I wouldn't go on Fri-Sat evening because gets pretty packed and IMO as it gets later in the evening on Fri/Sat the crowd becomes more for adults and not children.

We've also eaten at the House of Blues and the food was pretty good. I think the same rule applies for the Fri-Sat evenings.

I've forgotten the name of the restirant but there is an Italian resturant in DTD and te food is yummy:)

Hope you have a wonderful Trip!!!!

We eat at Rainforest every trip. This trip we are trying the Carnation Cafe and Blue Bayou for the first time. Im excited to try them. We enjoyed ESPN when we ate there. Does the 3.5 year old like characters? When DSS was younger and still my D-nieces enjoy Goofys Kitchen.:goodvibes

Haven't eaten at Carnation Cafe or House of Blues.

ESPN Zone's food is not amazing, but the upstairs arcade and the atmosphere is great, especially for sports lovers.

Rainforest Cafe is GREAT! Your 3.5 year old will love it because there is so much stuff to look at. Audio Animatronic animals, fish tanks, and a "thunderstorm" every half an hour. Plus the food is pretty good. We eat there almost every Disneyland/world trip.

I think Carnation Cafe should be fine, but HoB might be a little adult for the younger one, but it should still have a kids menu and crayons or whatever like a normal restaurant.

I've forgotten the name of the restirant but there is an Italian resturant in DTD and te food is yummy

Naples Ristorante and Pizzeria. I also second this. Very good gourmet pizzas.

Carnation Cafe is yummy for breakfast and lunch. The Italian place in DTD is Naples. It is also very good.

Rainforest Cafe!!! We eat there every trip, it's part of our *Disney Experience*. LOL We've eaten at Carnation Cafe as well and enjoyed our food. Blue Bayou is awesome!!!! But very $$$$, well worth it IMO but we don't go every time.

House of Blues is surprisingly good. Try the catfish nuggets for your appetizer.

we always try to hit ESPN Zone and Rainforest Cafe on our trips, we love them with our 9 y/o and 4 y/o.

this trip we did Carnation Cafe for the first time and it was AWESOME.

ESPN Zone is okay, we've eaten there both trips and they did not take reservations when I tried to make them...

Cafe Orleans is our new favorite! I still dream about the Monte Cristo! We have a Rainforest Cafe here downtown we still need to visit.

House of Blues isn't bad but gets very crowded.

But you forgot my personal favorite, I love the Jazz Kitchen. They have really good food and save room for dessert (or just go for dessert) they have some of the very best at DLR!

In fact I seriously am thinking of eating some Jazz Kitchen tomorrow I think I need to take some pictures :)

Yes, we had Jazz Kitchen our first night in July. It was really good!!!! DBF had the jambalaya and I had the shrimp and chicken, we shared because it was just that good! LOL

We go to Rainforest every year and we have been to ESPN zone a couple of times as well. Both good and entertaining for the adults and the little ones:thumbsup2

We are trying Carnation Cafe for the first time this year. Mostly because they have the peanut butter pallet (sp) and I know my 4 year old will LOVE it and I really want to try the Chicken Pot Pie. Yummy!

We love the ESPNZone, but they don't take reservations. The Rainforest Cafe is fun too and the portions are huge. We like the Blue Bayou, but the money is too much for us to every trip.

For us ESPN was good for lunch. House of Blues was surprisingly good - fattening, but good. Rainforest Cafe has awesome scenery & animatronics - not good food IMO. Carnation is great for breakfast or lunch.

Have not eaten at ESPN, however I find Rainforest food so so. Wonderful atmosphere and good service. We did try Naples our last trip and it was wonderful. Depending what time of year you go the patio is the best seat in the house. Looking forward to trying Carnation Cafe and Blue Bayou.:ccat:
