daughter is getting married here( tiny wedding) then they are taking her daughter for trip to wdw on vacation and would like to get some "wedding" shots either at wdw or on the beach( maybe cocoa beach? any suggestions for that) but i thought i read disney will only take photos for someone having their wedding at wdw...so any suggestions on how she can take photos? she could set up her camera on my tripod but wondering if they go to somewhere like the beach at grand floridian, will someone stop them from taking "wedding" shots there? i think she is planning on taking their "wedding" attire with them so it would obvious it's a somewhat dressed up affair but not a gown and veil type stuff. ( 2nd marriage, they want it simple and private)
any one with experience at this or suggestions for where or how or who can take photos?
thanks

Where is her wedding being held?

Have you looked into the resort photo sessions that Disney offers?? This is for anyone, families, couples, not just for people getting married at Disney. There are a couple of threads going on over on the resort board (under resort photos). I'll warn you though, the info is a little confusing and pricing is not definite depending on if you do photopass and pre-order, but anyway, it may work for your daughter. I've also read that there is a honeymoon portrait session in the parks you can purchase through the honeymoon registry. Its a little more pricey I believe, but the photos are done in the parks instead of a resort, I think. So I guess it depends on what she is looking for.

Hope this helps!

Anyone can take photos at the resorts, and your daughter can wear her wedding clothes if she wants. There are no Disney policies to prohibit it - only the parks ban photos in formalwear.

The Photopass shoots are easy to book, but they've become so expensive recently that you do just as well to hire a local professional photographer to take the pictures - or better, since the Photopass service doesn't employ professional photographers.

Here's a great resource for finding Orlando wedding photographers - many of them offer engagement photo shoots that could work as a bridal portrait session...
