Any good night time entertainment?

We don't get to DL very often as WDW is much closer and a much shorter flight.

We were there for the 60th and it was an amazing trip. Paint the Night was the best parade I've ever seen and I miss the evening parade since that is now gone from WDW. Having gone to WDW twice last year, I was thinking about a summer trip to DL. Starting to do some research and I don't see any night time parade or even fireworks on the current schedule. Are these gone? Definitely won't be going if there are no fireworks or night parade. Thx

There are no fireworks or parades in January and who knows about February or March as they are replacing the rails along main street and around the hub - so due to that construction fireworks and parades can not take place. I am sure by summer it will be full on schedule of parades, firework and shows!!

Do you know which parade was there before it stopped due to construction? Was it Paint the Night or the Electrical Parade from WDW? Would love to see PTN again.

Before the construction started I believe it would still be the holiday parade and fireworks. But I think outside of holiday themes it was Mickey's Soundsational Parade and Remember Fireworks.

During Pixar Fest I believe they'll have Paint the Night in DCA and Pixar Play Parade in Disneyland. I don't think they've given an official end date, but I can't imagine they'll just stop having parades in the middle of Summer, so I imagine they'll keep those two at least through the end of Summer.

I know, we are going in a couple weeks and I’m so sad! I never would have planned it right now if I would have known! It’s my husbands first Disney anything!

Well, just try and make the best of it. Still lots to do at Disney, and if it's his first trip, he won't miss what he has never experienced before!

What are your trip dates? Can you book packages for F! and WOC (maybe the Dessert Party?)? Those are great Disney experiences that your husband might really enjoy!
