Any GOOD Hilton DTD reviews?

Staying for one night in Sept before checking into our WDW resort. We always stay in a DTD resort the night before but Hilton is a new one for us, I went with Hilton b/c I found a package for 1 night that includes 4 disney quest tickets which i was going to buy for that day anyway so I saved money.

My key points of question are:

Cleanliness ( Im a bit of a germaphobe,lol)
Condition of the rooms are they worn out looking?
Friendliness of the staff.
Food is not a biggie b/c we plan on having lunch in disney quest and dinner at Trex, breakfast the next morning will be the Poly CL so we are covered in that area. Do wish we had time for Benihanas tho, I love Hibachi and have never had Benihanas..LOL

We stayed here for a long weekend trip in January 2011. Quite nice. Room was clean - staff was friendly and helpful.

The only negative to me was that the beds are doubles, not Queens. That is an issue for our family with teenagers.

We would stay here again.

I just stayed there April 3-6 and was very pleased with the stay, far more than any I have had in a Disney owned property. We would absolutely return if given the opportunity.

It was cleaner than the vast majority of rooms I have been in, just found one small stain on a wall.

My room appeared to have remodeled within the last year or two.

Friendliness of the staff couldn't be beat, except for the annoying timeshare rep in the lobby.

I stayed there in July 2008 and my parents will be staying there in May. My parents love it and pretty much always stay there. I like it but prefer to stay on property. I think for the one night you will enjoy it.

My mother is a germaphobe as well - probably worse than you. You will find it clean and the staff friendly. If you do decide to eat there, the breakfast with the characters was good and the poolside burger was great. Didn't go to Benihana as had been to others, but I'm sure it will be enjoyable.
