Any good generics to Underjams or Goodnites?

DD has to wear Underjams to bed, her doctor wants to wait a year until we try an alarm system to train her to wake up. So, I have always bought Underjams at Target, a 50 box for $19.99 and typically have a coupon. Recently she has had leaks so I think she needs the next size up. Well, Target doesn't sell the girl's larger size in the box, only a bag of 13 for $9.99! This doubles my cost! I can get the boy's large in the box (40) at Target, but it got me to wondering if there is a generic out there that is just as soft as the Underjams.

Also, does any of the clubs like BJ's sell the larger size bedtime pants by Underjams or Goodnites? Thanks!

What about an adult small in Depends-type adult diapers? I have no experience, but I was at Sam's last week and overheard two older ladies talking about the Sam's brand being far superior and cheaper than the Depends brand.

we used generic goodnights, but I can't remember where I had gotten them. They had ballerina designs on them, that's all I can remember. We used those until dd started taking some medication to help with the bedwetting. The generics worked just as well as the brand names IMO. Hope you can find something!! BTW our Sam's Club doesn't sell Underjams or Goodnights.

have you priced them on amazon? they are the cheapest for diapers for me (well not MY diapers but for my 2 yr old.. just wanted to clear that up lol)

here is a link to them on amazon. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=underjams+&x=8&y=20

Just looked, same issue at Amazon as Target. Looks like Pampers is not making the size "large" in the 40 box for girls, only boys. When I price out the smaller packs, the price doubles going to the larger size-argh! :(

We use the CVS brand of Goodnights. They are $9.99 for 15 sm/med or 12 lg/xl but I watch the sales for the buy one get one 50% off sale ($7.50 a pkg when you buy 2). They are plain white for a boy or girl.

We used the generic ones from Walgreens or CVS and like another poster mentioned, they often have sales and/or coupons that I just bought a bunch.

Just FYI - we just completed using a potty alarm for my son and it worked miracles! He has had only one accident in about 2 months and has been about 5 weeks since he wore the alarm. The accident was a night that he had a very busy day and was SO tired. Those things are amazing (when you and your doctor are ready of course!)

I'm glad you mentioned the alarm. My DD7 is a deep sleeper and could sleep through anything. We were going to talk to her Ped about other options after the holidays.

If you look on Amazon, make sure you shop through their "Subscribe and Save" program. You sign up for automatic delivery and receive a nice discount. Both my daughters order their baby's diapers there and have been really pleased with the price and delivery. There are LOTS of Subscribe and Save options there- she just got me to try the Charmin there and a favorite cereal and it was a great price plus FS.---Kathy

Have you tried Walgreen's Web site? We order Attends Underwear size 'Youth/Small', 80 for $55 (shipping is FREE): bit.ly/gnneKo

These are better than both the name brands or generics in my opinion.

I always got them at Walmart, I am pretty sure they were generic pull-ups. They didn't have the under jams and good nights at the time.

DS is almost 8 and has finally been out of pull ups at night since Christmas break started with no accidents!! :cool1:

He is a little bit on the smaller size, but he managed to use the XL generic pull ups of whatever store I was at. I tried the Underjams and Goodnites, but he seemed to have more leaks with those.

Amazon has great prices on them, I was checking them out a couple of weeks ago to extend my "Mom" Amazon Prime Membership. (Though I won't complain if I don't have to buy them again!)

I have heard a lot of people say that the alarm worked well for their child. We used one on DS from a friend, and he just sleeps SO soundly that it would wake me up but not him! (We got one of those smoke alarms for their room that talks because that scared me so much.)

Good luck! I know my ds was getting pretty upset about it, especially since his twin brother has been out of them for several years now.

DD5 still wears the Underjams at night and when I can't find girls XL she is fine wearing the boys. I ahve not seen them in larger packages, but appreciate the suggestion to purchase them on Amazon to get them at a discount.
