Can u share ur experiences and thoughts with me ? Would u buy it again? Any problems

Dh and I have owned 2 Honda Civics (back when our family was a lot smaller) and they were both great cars. We never had any mechanical problems with either of them and they got really good gas mileage! I still miss my last one, but I had to sell it after my third child was born. They are much more fun to drive than a minivan!!

We are the poster honda family having owned most of the models at some point or other. Sometimes we buy and sometimes we lease. We are on our 3rd civic. We have not had any problems with any of them. They are great mechanically, great for mileage. They are nice to drive, kind of zippy. Easy to park because they are so small.;) They are not as comfy for long drives as bigger models. We loved our Pilot for that but traded for a Civic when gas prices went crazy. Now we also have an Accord which is more comfortable but we still like the Civic and do most of the driving in it.

And love it! Got it in August of this year. Actually bought it off the showroom floor as it was the only one they had. :rotfl: We researched this car for at least a year before we bought it. I would usually never buy a brand new car but this is first year Fiestas are in the states. Hubby commutes about 40miles a day so the 40mpg really has come in handy. He has put about 5thousand miles on it in 3months and no problems. We are die hard Ford fans and were very excited to see a car with great gas mileage under 20grand!

We used to have a Civic--purchased new and ran well for over 200,000 milles with no major repairs. Finally gave it to someone who needed a car and they enjoyed it for quite awhile as well. Great car.

i have a civic and I love it
It gets good mileage and is so fun to drive
I would buy another one
But the next cat I want is the CRZ
It is a hybrid sporty thing
So cool

I have a 2007 Honda Civic. I've had a few minor problems here & there (for instance, the cruise control stopped working one day, but the dealership fixed it quickly & it's fine now).

My one & only complaint about this car is the sight lines. I find that there are too many "blind spots" with this car.

I've already decided my next car will be a Ford Fusion.

Everyone that I know that has a civic loves it and have had very few problems.

One of my co-workers has a Fiesta and she had to replace the engine at 75,000 miles and has has numerous other problems with it.

Have owned nothing but Honda's since 1991. (Once each for the wife and I).

My most recent is a 2006 Civic. Love it. Gas, go, gas, go again. 40MPG highway, take that overpriced hybird :lmao:, and 30 city. I love this car, and will own it until the rims fall off. (Which will probably be at LEAST another 10-15 years).

Highly recommended. :thumbsup2

Thank u everyone for ur replies. I will be starting a new job in 2 weeks that will require me to commute 66m one way. Looking for the best mpg as well as durability. I will be putting quite a few miles on it. I current drive an 03 expedition that i do no want to use for the commute! Even though I love it the gas bill would be crazy! :)
I'd also love to hear from more owners ESP the newer fiesta owners

I would not overlook the Honda Fit.

I think it's made Car and Drivers 10 Best list each year it's been out.

Things I recall from various reviews:
great mileage
fun to drive
lots of room for such a small car
interior materials could be in an Acura.

I have a Honda Civic Hybrid. I LOVE it. It's not a sexy car and I usually perfer something a with a little more flash, however...the gas pump is not scary any more. I average 43 miles a gallon and I do a lot of city driving.

It's got a good sized trunk. I think it's comfortable, I like the amount of storage that is acessible to the driver, I like all my crap within arms reach. My car has over 233,000 miles and it's going strong.

I would absolutely get another one and after owning a hybrid I won't drive anything else.

civic owner here, and I love it. Actually I love all Hondas!

I had a 2001 Civic, and then traded it in for a 2007. Nothing wrong with my old one. Just got a good offer on the old one to sell it, so I took that money and put it in a new one. And I would not be surprised in 4-6 more years if I decide to trade this one in for a new one. I love my Civic. Never a problem, always starts right up, good gas mileage. Sporty and fun. And I got the navigation system which is fantastic. Most people have a hard time believing my car is a Civic once they are inside of it!:goodvibes

Are you sure they have a Fiesta? They have only been selling them since late summer. That is a lot of mileage for a car that new.

I think the fiesta was out before and then discountinued because my dad was telling me that they were around before as well.

We owned two Fords---NEVER again! Fix Or Repair Daily (FORD) really lived up to it's name.

We've also owned a few Civics--LOVE THEM! They drive like champs, really only needing oil changes to keep 'em going.

I have a 07 Civic, LOVE IT!!!

A girlfriend of mine had a Ford, it was Fix or Repair Daily (FORD), but eventually became Found on Road Dead (FORD). She has a Civic now too

I guess I have just had really good luck with my expedition. I have owned it since new and have no major problems. Only maintenance etc. I have 133000 miles on it.
