I got a good deal for the weekend before Christmas: $69.00/night with the AAA discount. The pics on the website look very nice & mousesavers gave a nice review.

Many people do not like that hotel, I do. I think the rooms are a nice size, the location is great, I never had a problem while staying there (other than the elevators going out when electric went out but that was all of Hotel Plaza BLVD). Only thing that I don't like is the pool. It isn't big enough for the size of the hotel. It is an easy walk to DTD, they have the bus service to the parks. You have the best of both worlds when staying there.. inside the World & outside the World. :goodvibes

I agree with "A Mickeyfan"....many people do not like this hotel and the swimming pool is small but we sure did love this hotel when we stayed there for a week in July. The service by the staff was great, the walk to DTD was short, and walk to grocery store was short as well. The room was big enough for our family had a balcony w/an awesome view.

It will be just my DH and I. We won't be in the room that much. So just need a comfy bed & clean room.
Here's what mousesavers.com had to say about it:

http://www.mousesavers.com/bestwestern.html

Since 2002 the 325-room Best Western has undertaken massive renovations to the public areas (including a new marble and ceramic-tiled lobby) as well as the guest rooms. If you are looking for a modestly priced full-service hotel close to the theme parks, the Best Western is a good choice.

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a hovel! LOL...it didnot appear to be, and I trust the reviews from mousesavers.com.

Thanks to all of you!

Just back from there and thought the rooms were musty and the beds very sad. The first room we were given was full of ants. Paid $39 through priceline and will not be going back. The common areas are very nice.

We have a WDW pkg w/dining, staying 8 nights at CSR. Decided to extend our trip by three days, but needed to stick within budget. We got this hotel on Hotwire for $68....sure hope we're not disappointed. I know we will love the location - walking distance to DD!
