Was browsing Facebook today....looked @ DD's page and noticed a not so nice comment on her wall to wall, posted by a "friend".

I'd like to get it off. Once something is posted, can it be deleted by the author?? I will call the girl's parents to have her remove it if I can. Any other ideas???

Your DD can delete the comment off her page.

It will come off her wall if she deletes it, but I am not sure it will come off the live/news feed that everyone sees.

She can also block that person, or hide all posts on her wall from that person.

There is also a setting that will require her permission/approval of any comments or posts to her wall BEFORE they appear....she will just need to change her account settings in facebook

Hiding a person though doesn't prevent them from posting ... other people can see what they post to your wall though you cannot. Not ideal. I believe to block a person, you need to secure your wall (only friends can post) and un-friend the person.
