We plan on heading over to Fort Wilderness for the 1st time on our next trip for some bicycling and hiking. I see there's an "Exercise Trail", the map I found online shows a "Nature Trail" and I've seen pictures of a trail online that was called "Swamp Trail" -

Are some of these trails limited to walking ONLY? Or is bike access open to
all trails? Are Nature Trail & Swamp Trail the same trail?

Any experts on this? It seems like a great diversion from the parks for a morning.

Thanks,

I know you can pick up a guide at the bike rental place at WL. My husband and I always rent bikes and ride around FW. I is really fun!!! I'm not sure, but I think all the paths can be used for walking and biking. The paved path between FW and WL can be used for the surrey bikes to I think.

Have FUN :teeth:

The swamp trail is officially closed, but it's very cool to walk through. Don't go too far, it's very overgrown, but even 100 yards or so gives a great perspective on this interesting area in the woods. There are plenty of paved, open trails within the FL/WL area, enjoy!
