Any experince with having a large group meal?

We will be doing a family reunion Dec 15th-18th at DLR. Tonight it occurred to me that we could have those that arrive in time on the 14th do a dinner in Downtown Disney (is that DtD?). Anyone ever do a group over 20 people? I know the places to call, but was wondering about personal experiences and advice.

Same question regarding dining in Disney. We want to do one meal together there but as of right now I'm thinking about everyone just showing up to...can't think of the name of the place. The outdoor BBQ in Frontierland with the picnic tables. Definitely not doing the Blue Bayou as a group. That's a contractual process!

Hi we just got back last month we had relatives meet for my 50th b/day so it was sort of a family reunuin of about 18 people. We met at Naples in DTD for pizza. It worked okay we had 2 tables next to each other and ordered 3 of their family size so everybody could mix and match and each person didn't have to order an entree. Not real cheap but much more cost effective. There were late arrivals so we just ordered another when they showed up. The food and drinks were excellent. This also enabled some that didn't have tickets for that night to meet on Disney property. Hope this helps
