any experience with vein stripping?

Hi-

About 9 days ago I had a vein stripping proocedure done on my left leg. My leg is still very sore. There is swelling in the calf. It is also tight and feels like it is on fire.

Just looking for someone who is familiar with the procedure. My doctor says everyone recover differently. I was just hoping to swap some stories.

What I had was not the traditional stripping. I had lazer surgery to shut down veins that no longer functioned. What may help a little is to walk on the grass or soil next to the concrete instead of the sidewalk. That was true for the mother of my husband's friend after she had the traditional vein stripping.
