i can get a rate of 39.95 a nite for a "suite" that will sleep up to 6 with micro, small fridge and cont. breakfast. sounds to good to be good, has anyone ever stayed their? the address is 4694 w. orlo bronson mem. hwy.
I have stayed there several times, most recently in 2000. It is not a first class hotel but it isn't a dump either. The suite is one large room with half a wall separating the sofa from the sleeping area. It is not a two room suite like you might expect. It's got a small microwave, a coffee pot (6 cup if I remember right), and a bar sized fridge about twice as big as the ones at Disney. It sleeps six with two double beds and a double pullout sofa.
It's located on 192 where it is easy to get on SR535 and avoid all the construction and traffic to WDW. Travel time by that route is about 10 minutes.
As far as the continental breakfast goes...I pass on it. I went once and all they had was some sticky rolls with coffee or OJ. They don't let you take it back to the room. You have to eat it there in a small room about the size of a regualr motel room.
I use it whenever I need a low cost place for a few nights. I've never had any problems with bugs or dirty rooms or bad service. I did have a maid there once who stole some of my junk food I left out, though.
