We're going to Disneyland in June and were able to get the Hyatt Regency on Priceline.com for $54.00/night. I would appreciate any reviews or information about the hotel.

I stayed there a few years ago with 4 of my daycare children and we had a very pleasant experience. They really enjoyed looking out the window and watching the people in the lobby and in the restaurant. They upgraded our room also when we got there.

The kids really enjoyed the pool on the roof....

Very clean, staff very helpful. The shuttle bus is a greyhound size bus with very comfortable seats and plenty of room. No crowding...and the driver, atleast the one we had would play games during the ride and interact with all of us.

I'd stay there again if I wanted to shuttle.

I stayed at the Hyatt back in December 2004. It was a really nice room with an ultra comfortable bed! That part I loved. If you have a car, you have to pay for parking.

The worst part about it was the shuttle. The shuttle stops at other hotels before and after it picks up at the Hyatt. The first shuttle already had so many people in it that they only were able to seat the first 10 people in line. We had to wait 30 minutes for the next shuttle. When the shuttle finally got there people started cutting in line and it was a very frustrating experience.

After that we decided to just drive to Disneyland everyday. We learned since then and just stay at one of the motels across the street. They aren't as fancy, but the location more than makes up for the Hyatt's luxuries.

My family stayed there in Dec 2006. We bid $45 on priceline and I was thrilled to learn that I would be taking my family to the Hyatt Regency. Beware, however, as parking is $15 per night and the shuttle does stop at least 3 other places nearby before taking you to the park. After parking fees and taxes, my $45 "deal" ended up costing roughly $73/night. I will definitely stay across the street next time for $60-$65 to get free parking, super-close location, and a free breakfast.

The hotel itself is very nice and clean, everything one would expect from Hyatt. My kids were 3 and 2 at the time and I didn't think the Hyatt was very kid-friendly in terms of the type of furniture in the rooms. I was always having to be on guard to make sure my kids didn't trip and knock their heads against the steel and granite cocktail table. The hotel is great for adults and anyone traveling on business, or even families with older children who can resist jumping and running around in the hotel. For young families, I recommend something closer and cheaper.

We love staying at this hotel and it is the hotel of choice when we go to DL every year. This year, however, we can't get the reservation for the dates we are going and have to break tradition by staying at the Anaheim Marriott Suites. Is it getting more popular????

We love the rooms. Comfy beds. Clean rooms. Nice pool area. We love the location too. It is adjacent to Target where we can easily get a case of bottled water for the parks and any snacks we want. There are restaurants within walking distance (Joe's Crab Shack, Red Robin, Outback). There's a Starbucks in the lobby. The free shuttle that takes you to the park comes every 20min. We never had any problems with the shuttle. There are some negatives as already mentioned (expensive parking fee, not walking distance to the park). But you got a great price on priceline.com -- lucky you!

Have a great trip!

I got a great Priceline deal last April (2007) and it was great! The only negative for me was the parking fee. Still a better deal than most of the "cheaper" hotels that were in walking distance.

The shuttle started at the Hyatt and just went to one other hotel. The few times it was full, another one came right away.

Have a great time!

I used the shuttle to get to a conference at the Hyatt in January. The only other hotel it stopped at was the Crowne Plaza. It was very efficient, but I wasn't on it at Park opening or closing. Enjoy your stay. -- Suzanne

I'm pretty certain it only shares a shuttle with the hotel right next door, not any others.
